Have you been driving through spots that were salted?

Salt is less commonly used on the West coast, but it can leave colored stains on pavement.

I think the coolant is traditionally orange, the gear lubricant is amber, and the washer fluid is blue.

Yes.

Put the truck in extract height and go under it to check for similar stains around the rear DU belly pan and battery. Could also look chalky white if completely dry. IMO, G48 coolant (that blue stuff) stains don’t easily wash off. So if it’s coming from your truck, you’ll see it.

EDIT: The white stuff on the bumper lip is G48 coolant that dried, but you can see blue liquid behind the grill. This is in my ‘20 M3P when a rock damaged the radiator.

That’s coolant for sure Runs through the whole truck for ac and battery cooling. Should not be on the floor.. that’s a service visit for sure.

Coolant comes in a variety of colors.

Traditional is green.
GM has orange.
Ford has gold, yellow, and has used GM orange coolant in some years.
Tesla and European cars have blue.
Japanese cars have red.
And on, and on, …

Yes, but the coolant Tesla uses has specific known colors? Also, it would usually dry sticky.

Yup, Teslas use G48 coolant which is typically blue. Each coolant has its own characteristics. Completely dry G48 coolant leaves a chalky residue and isn’t sticky.

It’s not uncommon for manufacturers to switch coolant formulas, and therefore colors (note what I said about Ford). While the most recent Cybertruck might be using an orange coolant, most Teslas use blue.

I haven’t seen any new leakage and it actually might just be soap from a brushless car wash that got in the bed and slowly dripped out. I have a service visit in a couple weeks tho and will get them to check. TBD
