On one hand that's infuriating, but on the other hand it didn't cause any damage. Sorry it happened to you though. I often drive through Mt. Vernon on my way to visit family, so I feel the pain. Someone did this to a CT in the parking lot at Summit at Snoqualmie, but I wiped it off before the owner got back to their car. 99% of the harassment is going to be middle fingers and finger painting, and sadly we're just going to have to live with it until the outrage mob moves on.

Yes your property was touch but she looked to be using her finger. If you’re considering this vandalism, then every car who has been dirty that had wash me written into the dirt was vandalized. Get over yourself this is not vandalism, nothing was Damaged. I was expecting a carving or a spray paint or physical damage. Grow up and learn the definition.

Hate crime, not just vandalism. By your definition, writing the other N word on a persons car is ok, since it can just be washed off. Words matter when followed by action, even if the action is minute in your opinion.

I’m not saying it’s not harmful or hurtful. I’m absolutely disgusted with how people are treating other Tesla owners because of actions from their ceo.

I was just pointing out the fact this is not vandalism as nothing was damaged. Definitely not an excusable act. But yes definitely considering this act as more of a hate crime. Again it was just a finger drawing in the dirt. It could have been much worse and actually damaging to the truck like many others with key engravings and spray paint.

The individuals responsible for these attacks are total hypocrites particularly if they drive a BMW, Mercedes, just about any Japanese or Chinese car, and even a FORD. I suspect this behavior is caused by delusion, ignorance or plain old mental illness. Anyhow just know, you can't fix stupid!
