Also, I'd like to mention that this kind of thing happens at random, literally all the time. It's not just Tesla.

I was blissfully unaware of the staggering amount of people who touch my vehicles in public places until I got my model 3. Ranging from crusty old ladies slamming their purse down on my hood to rattle around and find lipstick, down to people casually leaning on my car like their own it.

We just happen to have live cameras strapped to ours by default. It's been a wild ride these past few years. I have caught some crazy stuff on my sentry cams.

I saw that all the time with the DeLorean. People needed tactile feedback to prove to themselves it was real.

Of course, I had only the fingerprints to document this behavior. With sentry mode, I see that virtually every lookie-loo is compelled to touch the stainless. Weird, rite?

Granted, I don't mind at all people peeking into or even touching my truck so long as they do it respectfully (obviously because it's the weirdest, most unique vehicle to ever reach mass production), but there is a fine line. I will say that people were far more rude with my M3 than the CT though.
