Fast truck with a unexperienced drunk driver and a sprinkle of cocaine = A accident waiting to happen.
What happened wasn't an accident. I was a negligent wreck, caused by extremely irresponsible people.

The Cybertruck’s regenerative braking causes deadly o̶v̶e̶r̶s̶t̶e̶e̶r̶ understeer in a panic situation.
Skill issue. The regen is perfect.

If the CT went to a complete stop, how fast can the CT had reach after 220 feet (67 meters)?

It's been too many hours since coffee for me to manually do the math but both ChatGPT and Gemini say, assuming constant acceleration, that a Beast (0-60 in 2.6 seconds) would hit 83 MPH in 220 feet.

AWD (0-60 in 3.9) would be 68 MPH in 220 feet.

Seems crazy, but šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø.

True but being a you guy I hope it his last word were not watch this. You have to have respect for the cybertruck speed. It doesn't feel as fast as it is going.
That's the case in all of the EVs I've driven and many high performance ICE cars. You're going faster than you realize. Not an excuse for DUI, but so sad for the others in the truck and their families.

The loss of life is very tragic. At the same time a lessons again that alcohol and drugs don’t mix with traffic.

One question I have is who was the owner of the Cybertruck and let him, Dixon, drive it after they came back from a party? Or maybe he just took it from his home, parents didn’t see him?
Unfortunately was authorized to drive the truck. Was one of the kid’s grandfather’s truck. As mentioned alcohol + cocaine is deadly - 3 kids were in young 20 s - 4th kid was pulled out of the truck by a buddy who was following the CT.
I know someone that lives couple blocks from the accident site.

A Beast could achieve 60-80 MPH in that distance based on its 2.6s 0-60 time
I live very close by and I was very surprised about the location of this accident,
because the area is flat, the roads are very wide and the visibility is great.

I was in fact thinking that the accident could have happened on Oakland Avenue,
which is very long and very inclined road, with a slope of about 10%. This is the most direct
way to go from the Piedmont Hills High School area to downtown Oakland or the freeway.

I was wondering if the the driver of the CT did in fact stop or slow down at the intersection
stop sign to reach such reported high speed ? Maybe the driver was distracted, like looking
at the rearview mirror to check if the other vehicle was following him,
but this is just a supposition .

Parental mode probably would have saved him. Since he wasn't used to it .

And could have had fsd get him home. Not recommended but it could have.
