Cybertruck T-boned by drunk driver going 60mph, but father and daughter saved

Cybertruck proves its safety advantage once again. Posted by an owner who was T-boned in his Cybertruck.

A few days ago, our Cybertruck saved my life and the life of my 5-year-old daughter. We were T-boned by a drunk driver who ran a red light going 60 miles per hour.​

The police on the scene told us that if we had been in any other vehicle, the car would’ve flipped and been torn in half.​

​

I’ll be buying a new Cyberbeast this week. If you love your family, buy a Tesla.​

OK, I'm glad the owner and his 5-year-old daughter were kept safe. That is awesome and amazing, especially considering his daughter was spared. But this is a confusing situation because he says he's buying another Cybertruck.

Is he saying that the safety of his family is somehow more important than the political statements of the CEO of the company that manufactures the Cybertruck?

I’m really not sure what you are getting at here. I think asking what the other vehicle was is a valid question. It can help us understand what we are seeing compared to an accident with a tiny two door car or a full sized truck. I think we are all glad that the father and daughter are safe. Please help me understand what you are saying here.

This is only my opinion, however here we know an object was travelling at around 60 miles per hour.....with a drunk driver behind the wheel.
A small car or a BIG car to me is less important if l know everyone on board the impacted vehicle is SAFE!
That sounds cold and calculated, but it is how l see it. We all see things different or the same at times.....it depends on our experience of life and other things that may inform our thought processes.
If it was a meteorite l might want to know how BIG or what effect the the strike of the CYBERTRUCK caused to the said ROCK.
Again, if a meteorite hits you in your CT and you live, l don't really mind what happens to said ROCK.
It's been interesting to write on this matter......

It is nice to know the object that caused the impact and the general damage to it. It is more impressive to me that it was a standard sized pickup than a ford fiesta LoL.
I might have been disappointed with the cybertrucks damage if it was a fiesta.

I agree the most important details of this accident is the affected father and daughter that survived however disagree with not asking for the details of the other vehicle.

We learn from research, experimentation, and experience so it is wise for everyone to know what kind of vehicle could have caused this type of impact.

Wondering if we know today.
I'm Super keen to see the safest pickup truck arrive DownUnder, maybe Christmas Day 2026 or '27.
