So on another thread today we were talking about features that can be added in software and I was thinking how useful it would be to be able to create a macro type command on the truck
For example, I’d like to have an invincible mode button for getting out of a bad situation without much thought. Kind of like a Mario star.
so…let’s say something like….switches to off-road, sets suspension to very high, enables wade mode, locks diffs, enables biohazard defense mode, locks doors and folds mirrors all on one button press.
I can think of multiple other examples where a macro would be handy.

we have S3XY buttons in the model x that can do this sort of thing. Anyone know if those work on the Cybertruck or if there is another way I’m not thinking of to bundle together commands?

That'd be dope. I'd love to have sexy buttons on CT.

I've had the buttons for a long time on my P3D.

Multiple commands with a single button...does not always work.

I tried a single button for multiple commands to go through the car wash. (car wash mode +) and it works most of the time....but not all of the time.

Good to know. I was just looking for some macro functionality. Can’t think of another way to do that.
We mostly use ours in the x for simple stuff.
For example, I really like an actual button for opening the glovebox. I also really like the precondition battery function.
The only macro we really use in the x is our school dropoff function which is just opening. the passenger falcon wing and trunk and sliding the right middle seat forward to access the third row. That seems to work consistently well.

SOME actions can also be executed in the iOS shortcuts app, but the buttons are definitely more capable.

I contacted the company about developments specific to the Cybertruck. Unfortunately they are located in Bulgaria and don't have access to a CT for development. I'm interested in their S3XY Stalk turn signal and maybe another company will develop something.

But you still need the obd module to make that work right?

So how do you set up iOS shortcuts? Seen a good resource that explains this?
