How to transport 3 bikes?

I just got in the Tesla rails and one Thule UpRide bike mounts (trying to get more but they are out everywhere) with plans on doing a couple more. Once I get it mounted up this weekend I’ll post pics.

How many bikes are you mounting by the way? For 3 I am thinking 2 facing forward and the one in the middle facing backwards so that everything fits nicely.

I’ll probably do the same once I can get more bike mounts. It worked great today. I got it mounted up this morning before using it to meet up and do a bike ride. Bike rack worked awesome. The Tesla rail kit comes with 8 mounts so it is also easy to move the rails around if you want.

I’ve fit 3 bikes under the tonneau. One of my favorite use cases is weather protected bikes. Can you fit rest of your stuff in the frunk / under the rear seats? You should have some space still in the rear as well.

What's you strategy for achieving this? I can fit 2 mountain bikes in by removing the front wheels but beyond that I start to get concerned about bending derailleurs.

Tetris like placement using the height of tonneau closest to the window to my advantage… but also, 1 of the 3 is a kids sized bike, and im not be super careful about components. Been fine though

Thanks. And I agree this is one of the vehicles best use cases. Totally secure, not visible from outside, weather protected multiple bike storage
