I don't think that is our argument with Robers video. He clearly named it self driving which autopilot is not. In the situations where the Tesla 'failed' a driver would still have been at the wheel and paying attention. With both thick fog and pouring rain the driver of the vehicle would have been more cautious.Yes, yes... "If you want your car to apply brakes for an obstacle, please pay extra $8,000"
I know that FSD will drive much slower, be far more cautious, and if it feels it can't handle it will yell at me and disengage. None of those attributes were shown in the testing.
This was basically a hit piece on Tesla FSD and a stock boost for Luminar. At a critical time for at least one of the companies.
