Maybe but I just don't see Tesla offering an OEM version...
I can see that perspective and perhaps this is wishful thinking on my part because I chose to buy an AWD, I just think that even if they don’t, someone will fill that market niche the way they filled selling a bed divider that’s the same or better than Tesla’s for less money or the wheel covers when nobody could get them..
Like I said, it’s a desireable enough product. Don’t believe me? How many threads are there about this bar on this site?

As of now we’ve seen nothing to rebut the original suggestion that the light bar was a FS/CB exclusive.

Early on we had posts and discussions about how not it simply will not connect to even a FS/AWD because of some hard coding in the light bar. It must be “initialized” and the vehicle trying to initialize it apparently must be a FS/CB. And it’s not that you don’t get feature features it will not even power on is what has been reported.

Someone noted that they found a price in the parts catalog ($2500), but again it’s my opinion that that is simply replacement cost if somebody who has it damages it outside of warranty.

In the end time will tell and Tesla can certainly change their mind although width as much as a PITA this has been for them I doubt it. Others are already starting to manufacture and sell similar designs.

I only have one complaint with it and I am the only person I’ve seen say it up to this point: I actually don’t think it’s as bright as I expected it to be.

The bottom part on this page is the part number.

I haven't seen anywhere that it is tied specifically to the cyberbeast.

The forum is replete with that information, multiple threads, pages and pages of discussion. I’ll leave it to you to find it if you wish. AND if it’s wrong, it should be a trivial matter to buy one and install it on a non-FS/CB. Right?

If any of what you’re suggesting is accurate, it should be simple for someone to prove that the OEM light bar is (or soon will be) freely available to all CT owners that want it.

For its intended purpose I very much so look forward to it. For me it will be worth the hit. I can't wait to be wheeling at night and be able to see everything around me. The 'gutter' angles look great too!

As many have stated on the legality side of the fence in many states any uncovered offroading light bar or spotlight must be covered while driving on road.
Sorry, I wasn't going to go find all the laws or codes for this, I know some people hate me linking to GROK but if you want general legal information click the link (includes info per state). GROK - Lightbar legality on road

At some point someone will make an aerodynamic cover that goes in front of it and angles up from the windshield. I'm just waiting to see what someone comes up with.

So far all I've seen here over and over is speculation, no one has tested.
Well when I finally get mine I don't mind meeting up with someone in Virginia and trying it out.
It should be trivial to pull them next to each other and use some wire to connect the three connectors from the lightbar to their AWD cybertruck. Maybe an hour of work to find out if its possible.

Incorrect. Tested with full report on how it didn’t work (including pictures iirc) here in the forum. Again, you can find it if you want to, or not. I’ve had mine in place for half a year now, so I’m good.

Any suggestions on keywords to search? I’m not coming up with it. I’d really like to read that. ‘May save me a lot of money.

I gave on on searching the forum directly. I'm searching with google now. I'll post here if I find it (and everywhere else I've stated its not proven).

[EDIT]
I couldn't find it searching the forum.
I couldn't find it using google.
Grok couldn't find it without me referencing the forum or when I specifically told Grok to search the forum.

I'm not trying to be argumentative about a proven point if so but I can't find it and can only assume its still speculation. *shrug*

I’ll see if I can find it I hope that the member who posted it comes forward I feel like it might have been @Guylouis but I’m not 100%. Gonna be a fairly busy day so if I can find it later I’ll link it here. But I am quite certain of my recollection. Even then though, it’s not something that I flagged for future reference because I already had my lightbar by then.

It looks cool for sure!
that's the main motive, here...the looks. It would be handy on an exceptionally dark Christmas eve. Kinda wonder if it will make it by next Christmas, been almost a year in waiting.

I was almost at a year of waiting. Seems like they are starting to install more of them now.

This is not what I was looking for (I’m not sure that it settles anything) and I don’t understand why the link only goes to the PDF rather than the actual post/thread, but ChatGPT 4.5 found this:

https://www.cybertruckownersclub.co...n-series-premium-accessories-multi-pdf.43097/
Here’s me talking about it previously, still not what I was looking for but getting closer I guess:

https://www.cybertruckownersclub.co...ar-from-tesla-fs-beast-only.32642/post-568067

I still think the proof will be in the pudding when somebody tries to buy one (if they can get past that step) and then install it on a non-FS/CB.
Thank you for trying to find it. I really do want to know if that is the case.
Unfortunately a comment from a service manager doesn't hold much weight anymore.... After being told a slat in the tonneau cover couldn't be added, 2 months later that is exactly what they were doing for all the cybertrucks that were short a slat.

My offer still stands that I'm willing to test with a AWD cybertruck whenever I get mine.
