I'll write up a process and post. I should have video'd or taken photos as I accomplished this. But I'll write up something that is step-by-step. Just know that anything I describe is entirely at your own risk. That said I've had zero issues or problems with my install so far.
You are the man! I know others are definitely interested in a solution here.

So the way you have it wired up the mirror will power on when Sentry Mode is on as well?
I haven’t tested it by making sure that it fires up when sentry mode goes active but I think it should. All the cameras go active on sentry mode start & because this is tied into that voltage supply it should as well.

First of all I definitely applaud your efforts here, but there is like no chance I could ever do this.

Would you ever do a Youtube tutorial for the rest of us mortals?

Secondly - I definitely agree that I am sick of being gouged on accessories by companies. Most rearview mirror cameras are half the price of TesStudio, Hansshow etc.

Thanks for your efforts!
I attach a PDF of my work flow to tie the S92 rearview camera into the CT's camera power feed. Use at your own risk / level of competence.

That is definitely the advanced version.

Something people less technically apt might consider. There are two USB-C power outlets on the back of the center console (for rear passengers) it is pretty easy to tuck a 20' USB-C power cable along the lower console trim, under the drivers dash, and up the pillar and across the headliner to the camera.
The user then has a couple of options.
1. Power on outlets when entering (camera will be on while user is in the truck and for a couple minutes after)
2. Power on outlets went entering AND leave outlets on for 12 hours (camera will stay on for 12 hours after exiting)

The advantage of this is the easy install, and no interference with GPS, radio, etc as the power comes from a dedicated outlet.

The downside is you lose 1 USB-C outlet in the back, but one and a 120v remain.

Just my 2c, your solution is more elegant, but may be to complex for some.

I'll be reviewing the new wolfbox g900 tripro camera mirror soon.

I'll be sure to test it out in the socal desert heat when it arrives. Doing an overland adventure in June with it and will let you know.

Maybe the wolfbox will turn out to be better and/or a better company to work with.

Simple is good, my brother!
I have difficulty getting trim to fit back easily and without rattles, so I avoid removing trim when possible. Tying into the camera feed ensures that the rear view turns on when sentry mode is active and because the rear view begins recording automatically it can add an additional couple of camera viewpoints when they might be needed.

I purchased the Wolfbox 900 Pro and got it working but mounting is a problem. You can remove the OEM mirror from the ball mount but that ball is too small to fit the Wolfbox adapter plate. I literally used double sided tape and tie wraps to make this work. Not ideal. There are a couple of wires to tap into in the video below. We need to pressure Wolfbox to step up with a proper mount or adapter plate.

Fellow Phoenician here. Have you had any issues with the camera and the heat that some have reported about the camera getting glitchy when it gets hot?

I know the question wasn’t directed at me but I have the same mirror and live in Scottsdale and have had 0 issues with that. I also park outside. That said, I still haven’t lived through one of our extreme summers with it. So far so good though.

Ok. That’s good to know. I may look at other wiring options now then and go ahead and install it.

When the mirror has power is there a quick and easy way to turn the screen off and on?

Yes. There is a nice big button at the very bottom. One press for on and one press for off.

Hi! Nice to meet another local. You should hit up Hemiarch as he is another local and an awesome dude.

I’ve only had the S92 installed for about 2 days now. I’ve not (yet?) seen the heat issue. I do park in the sun from about 7:30 AM to 1 or 2 PM. I do also use overheat protection set at 100 degrees.

People describing the issue say above 70 degrees or so, right, when the problem kicks in? My interior has been warmer than that and I’ve not seen the issue yet, knock on wood.

Yea, after watching some videos of the trim I am going to try to tuck it behind trim on my next one as opposed to taking trim off.

Did you try just using the included rubber pieces to put the Wolfbox over the CT mirror? Looks like that would fit, although maybe not as clean of a looking install.
