Ugh Staples? Seriously?

I hope my truck is a one off and not common out there. Double check your trim.

Getting into my Nov 24 49k VIN I caught a glimpse of something shiny on the edge of the center console and unpon closer look found a horrible fix. 6 metal staples in which half are broken and pointing out.

I really wish I didn’t see this.

Better to check your trim and especially for those who haven’t taken delivery yet.

I'm going to put in a service ticket for this and a couple other minor things and see what Tesla says

I had the same problem. Put it in the app for maintenance. They replaced mine without a problem. New one is much better.
