Where can we take our CT to get it repaired in less than 7 months? (Seriously!)

My wife had an accident and hit a pole that tore off the drivers side mirror, broke the small triangle window and bent something in the wheels alignment so that it's currently undrivable.

So, after taking it into one 'authorized' repair shop, we didn't feel comfortable with them because:
1) They had never worked on a CT before
2) They said it would take a 'couple of months' to do the repairs because its hard to get parts from Tesla
3) They said after repairs, the whole steering system would need to be recalibrated and such and they don't do that kind of thing so it would need to go to a Tesla shop for that.

So, we had it taken to a Tesla Collision Center (about 90 miles away - the closest one that works on CTs).

Well, today, they called and said "After we take some pictures and figure out what work needs to be done, you will need to pickup the truck until we can get the parts in." And proceded to tell me that it would take SIX MONTHS or longer to get the parts!! Excuse me??? 6 months just to get the parts in?!?!? Yep... That's what they are telling me. Why they didn't tell me that when I CALLED THEM DIRECTLY to find out if they could work on the truck and they said "Yes, but you will need to get it here" - so, we did.

I'm sorry, but our CT is only 2 months old!! It's completely paid for as well and now we're being asked to wait 6-7 MONTHS for them to repair it?

I even said, "What if we took it to a local shop, if you're too busy?" I was told it probably won't matter because it takes that long to get the PARTS from Texas?!?!? And AFTER the parts come in, THEN they will make an appointment to get it repaired???

Anyone else having this issue of not being able to get a CT repaired in a timely fashion?? I mean 6-7 MONTHS?!?!?!

Which Tesla collision center told you 6 months?

Pics of the damage?

It's at the Tesla Collision center in Huntington Beach.

I don't have pictures, but basically it's the mirror on drivers side needs to be replaced, the small triangle window (that the mirror broke when it was bent into it).

The front wheels are out of alignment and don't 'track' the same... They said it was tie rods and steering rack... when one is straight, the other is turned about 20 degrees... Which is why it can't be driven... No damage to the actual 'metal', the fairing around the wheel got scraped up some, but it's not a big deal, doesn't even need a new one...

That’s wild… maybe they should disassemble some of the 1000s they have waiting for owners to supply parts.

Can you get the alignment done and later replace the mirror so that you can drive it? Maybe talk with Tesla SC rather than the body shop?

A YouTuber bought a totaled CT and had the same problem: the tie-rod was bent. He patched the rod to get it movable but ended up replacing the rack, too.

Try Tesla Santa Ana, that's where all the CT parts are at.
Thanks... I will wait until they give me a definitive 'what needs to be repaired' list and then start calling around I guess...

Just hoping that the steering 'parts' aren't going to take 6 months... Who knows, maybe they can make it drivable at least...

I think we could get away without the mirror and I am pretty sure that small glass 'window' can be replaced quickly too (or blocked off).
