Will source better countersunk screws for tailgate, those are actually from a Model S battery pack!

nice. IF,,, big if here you can cut the openings out for the racks, make a plate to go OVER them and the bolt to bolt it down that way I can use the racks I have and light bar. I only need the top three then I would order a set. Even just cut them out. I can make my own washer type setup. Love these

I’m sure Jasper could make those custom cuts for you.

These look sweet and reasonably priced. However, I noticed that the top pieces cover the aeroflap. This has to be removed during cybertent usage. Any chance of a version for tent equipped trucks? Maybe stop the roof cover at the edge of the aeroflap and add a SS panel to go across?

Not to rain on anyone’s parade, but this emperor has no clothes. Looks like a spectacularly bad high school metal shop project. Not even close to OEM.

Tic toc… A design decision was made… It would be no problem for Jasper to make a second version. V1 is a more visually pleasing version. I have no desire to run a tent. V2 that allows aero cover operation would have a cross piece that probably would have to be adhered with 3M 5500 adhesive or the like. It’s no problem to make it was just a design decision to get something out on the market…

People like you really agrivate me. If you don’t like it, vote with your wallet. I’m sure you’ve never made something in your life.. I freaking love the resulting product we have come up with. Shame on Tesla for not doing it in the first place. But to listen to people like you Monday Morning Quarterback really gets under my skin….

Let’s see your version Keyboard Jockey….
I never said that I could do better. These are an answer searching for a problem - no one can do better than OEM. These are amateurish at best and provide zero benefit to the truck. Besides being superfluous, they have file marks, bad welds, and visible screws. Where does Tesla have visible screws on the CT? No where. Tesla would NEVER make these. Do what you want but installing these will reduce the truck’s value. This is an example of modification excess - and too much money rolling around.

Not a doer? Try googling me dude. Retired at 52, must have done a thing or two. Currently college professor, investor, adventurer. Have you been to the North Pole? South Pole? Motorcycled around the world three times? Get a life. These things are awful.

Of course it gets under your skin - it’s your bad idea. You put something on the interwebz looking for commentary and then can’t stand valid criticism. Your thin skin is showing - might want to try growing a pair. Monday morning quarterbacking only applies after a real game. This has no game. IMHO it’s lame. Total waste of effort and money.

I won’t be googling you dude, don’t care. That’s why you became a professor, so you have a captive audience you can tell how great you are. You kinda got in my head a little. I had to go look at the panels again this morning to check… Nope they’re still Awesome. I have to apologize to Jasper for stooping to your level and kind of messing up this thread with bad JuJu. Going forward I’d appreciate you keep you negative thoughts your self and don’t “contribute“ to the thread any further… But of course…..
