Hi all. I'm thinking about ordering a CT for work. I carry a lot of tools and equipment including a 6' step ladder. I currently drive an F150 Supercrew short bed. The ladder only fits diagonally in the bed which means half of my tools/equipment are behind the ladder, which is not unmanageable but a bit of a pain on the days when I don't need the ladder. I risk scratching the side of the truck with zippers and buttons leaning over the side (grinding dirt into the paint when it's not clean), or I have to remove the ladder to access stuff behind it. I know the CT has a 6' bed and am wondering if anyone has tried secruing a 6' step ladder against one side of the bed? It looks like it's the perfect size and shape to for it.

Is it six foot opened? If so it’ll be longer than that folded. I’m pretty sure the bed is exactly 6’ so you would need to measure it folded.

Those are great, and I've used them before, but I'm going into ceiling spaces in office buildings. There's ususally not much to lean the ladder against.

I'll check in a min.

Edit: I couldn't try it without removing the tent, but the ladder is a bit too long. It won't lie flat on the bed, it's at a slight angle on the tailgate. That may mean you can't put it like you would like.

I only have a 20’ extension ladder, but I can confirm that one doesn’t fit.
thanks. I guess I'll have to figure out if it will fit diagonally. The only reason it fits into the F150 is because there is extra space on either side of the wheel wells which the CT doesn't really have. I'm not sure the extra length of the CT will be enough.

The cyber trucks bed is 6‘4“. It should fit fine and there’s no wheel wells

This might work.

Telescoping Ladder, Miscoos A-Frame 16.5FT Aluminum Telescopic Extension Ladder with Non-Slip Feet, Multi-Purpose Collapsible Ladder for RV or Outdoor Work,330lbs Capacity

Just opened this thread and so I went and grabbed my 7’ ladder and it fit but only in this position. Hope this helps.

thanks for the photos. Wow, if the 7' fits diagonally, a 6' has to be close going straight in. I was thinking I might drill out the rivets, remove the feet, cut a couple of inches off of each leg then put the feet back on, but then i saw the post from @Vigorous1982 showing a telescopic A frame ladder. I'm a little scepticle about the strudieness, but I think I'll order one and give it a try.

You should get a little giant extension ladder. The 18’ smaller version fits completely flat and fine in the back of my cybertruck and barely fit in my f150.. In its compressed position it looks just like a normal a frame ladder but you can make it up to a 9’ a frame ladder or extend it our flat to hit 18’. It’s great.
