Dear fellow Beast owner, if you are reading this topic, you likely have your lightbar already installed. Despite several attempts to get my lightbar installed I have not been successful. Most recently, I was told to stop asking, that Tesla is installing these light bars in the order that Cybertrucks were delivered. In order to ascertain any sort of pattern or practice to Tesla's installation of light bars on Cyberbeasts I am starting this survey thread. If you are a Cyberbeast owner please list the following:

A) Date You Took Delivery of your Cyberbeast
B) Date You had your Light Bar installed
C) Service Center location that Installed your Lightbar
D) Method used to obtain your lightbar - This could be you received a notice from Tesla to come in and get it, or you scheduled a service appointment in the app, or any other method by which you came to obtain your lightbar.

Thank you in advance for answering these questions!

PS. If by chance you have the AWD version of the Cybertruck and were still able to get a lightbar from Tesla and have it installed, please share that info as well.
A. 07/29/24
B. 11/25/24
C. NV
D. @Guylouis “magic words” app only method.

I can tell you that this “in the order that your car was delivered” bullshit is total bullshit. I got my light bar installed ahead of so many people that were soooo far ahead of me in taking delivery. Here’s the full stats on my build:

Spec: FS CB/Tactical Gray
Reserved: 01/04/20; RN113…
FS Invite/Configured: 06/03/24
Projected Delivery: Sept. - Dec.
VIN Assigned: 07/25/24 …RA025XXX
Delivery: 07/29/24
Wheel Covers: 10/20/24
Light Bar: 11/25/24

Asked about light bar and wheel covers in person at the service center back in November 2024 when I picked up winter tires and was told they would notify me when they were available......still waiting.

Requested through app to add this on to an existing scheduled service (spare tire install), explained that I had an accessory rack on order (Urander) and would need the lightbar installed before I could install the rack (as rack would cover the area for light bar electrical connection). They checked with their parts department for availability, confirmed shortly after that they could do it, and scheduled it onto the same service date. They were very accommodating when I explained the reason. Prior, I was told to wait for email.
I asked WPB on 12/31 and they told me to wait for email. Might try again.

1. June 30
2. Still waiting
3. WPB, FL

Scheduled Svc Appt for recalls, asked for light bar install. Tesla came back and said not available. When I saw many others getting theirs in late Dec/early Jan, I texted them to see if it’s now available. They said yes, but would have to re-schedule appt so that they had enough time. Hopefully will be happy this afternoon picking up the Beast!
Update: Picked up the CB yesterday, light bar was installed, installation looks great! Still need to do the electrical hook-up

Apparently many can’t follow instructions - thread for lightbar owners survey - not want or don’t haves.
Confusing also to read some of the purchase dates ex entered as 27’ for year, so how many actually did get them?

A) 9/28/2024 - came with wheel covers
B) Installed 1/6/25
C) Mechanicsburg, PA - named Carlisle SC
D)No email - Created a service event in app for broken wheel cover & to check air compressor noise - mentioned lightbar to them, which they responded wheel cover replacement couldn’t be sent to me as a mobile service as requested and instead created a scheduled SC visit back in Dec 24’ - later in app followed up that wheel covers could only be sold in sets and updated service schedule for Jan 6/2025. Later, which is when I also requested via app communication of service appt to have lightbar, they followed up mentioning lightbar install as first one for this location and will have part by service date. Took it to them Jan 6 and they had it done with a little extra time due to cold temps for glue setting and also did not only roof wiring but also RH B Pillar connection as per new service bulletin - All I did was set menu to utilize lightbar / roof outlets & removed black tape cover from lightbar.

Creater of post seems to think otherwise given their original post and "like" on people's responses that have not gotten their lightbar yet.

No one put down 2027 (or '27), that was August 27th.

Yes my preference was to get feedback from only those who have received the light bar so I could try to ascertain patterns among those who received. However, having some data points from others who did not (for example what if many owners who took delivery before me hadn't received their yet either - then that might alleviate fears that I have been bypassed) could help form a broader picture. I think at this point I have enough data points and I have resolved the issue with Tesla and have a target date for my installation with Tesla Service. Fingers crossed all goes as planned. :)

Please do share how did you get the issue resolved with Tesla. Hell, just share how and who did you get hold of from Tesla.

As a Tesla Owners Club officer we have a feedback/contact channel with Tesla. I reached out to provide them information on the situation and asked how to best proceed. They were kind enough to reply and let me know that a resolution was forthcoming. Whether or not my inquiry got the wheels moving or the wheels were already in motion but I was able to get an update on the process I don't know. I know this probably isn't helpful for you as you can't use the same channel I did, but hopefully Tesla is more aware internally of the situation and are working to resolve the delays. I've always found the individuals I've interacted with at Tesla to be helpful and wanting to do the right thing by the customer. I know they are as frustrated with delays as we are.

Thank you for your reply. The least they should do is be transparent about the process. A light bar is not going to significantly affect any of the owners, but the perception that the process to get the light bar is rigged is enough to set people off.

A. June 10th
B. Today Feb 1st - just picked it up!
C. Aurora, CO
D. Used Gaximus trick by scheduling an install out ofthe blue for it. They initially said I needed an email first. I replied to that and pleaded that it has been 8 months from delivery and that I was a day one reservation holder. Then a few hours later the service center called me and said they could get it installed for me as a favor for all the hazzles I have had with other things.

If anyone has received the infamous email, please share that email with us. feel free to clip or remove any sensitive personal info if you need, just show us what it looks like. So we don't miss it if we ever do get it. we certainly don't want to miss and delete that email, then they might say you need to have that email, or no light bar (no soup for you).
