Alcantara armrest DIY wrap (for extra sensitive elbows) 😎

So I had this beat up TPE armrest cover which fit beautifully, but was more than a little past its prime. Definitely did its job. Was about to trash it but my inner hoarder took over.

Ordered some cheap self adhesive Alcantara from Amazon.

Was very easy to do and I’m pretty happy with the result. Very comfy.

Mine is not a beast but this is a close match for the beast dashboard.

What do you guys think?

Even worse, not my feet in the pictures. Everything I do has to be done with an audience of a 7 year old, 4 year old and 1 year old. By extension also usually my wife.

Ha, love that. I remember in the early days recording a video on how to wrap the wooden dash trim in 3/Y. Didn't have a workshop, so it was outside, in the middle of a Texas summer. Sweating buckets, with the outlaws just watching on, making various quiet comments about my production skills. Fun times.
