Should I get a cybertruck?

I want to keep this question as simple as possible. I love teslas, I drive a model y daily and love it. I have tested the awd ct and the trip motor cb and loved both. my question is, are the cubertrucks really embedded with all of these problems? or is it luck of the draw on which one you get? thanks.
Don’t do it

The only thing not mentioned by anyone is the quietness of the cabin. It is not quiet or very insulated from road noise especially on rougher roads. It sounds like things are going to fall off or pots and pans clanging around.

I have ridden in 5 different trucks and they’re all the same. Don’t expect it to be like your Model Y or 3. The newer Ys and 3s have excellent dampening of road noise.

If you won’t be annoyed by this, then it’s an awesome truck. Any issues will be taken care of by service.

I don’t regret mine one bit.

This is not my experience at all, but maybe I got a unicorn.

You don't have a unicorn, the quiet, calm ride of the Cybertruck is often mentioned as a surprising benefit by most reviewers. It's not quite tomb-like quiet, like a high-end luxury car is, but compared to the competition, it's very quiet and solid sounding.

What about garage parking? Is that even a thing with CT?
I park in the garage. I've a 3 car garage that fits Model 3 & CT.

With std garages, you do need clear front space. I had to move a workbench. 2 car garages would be very tight if you have another car.

I recently bought our 2nd cyber beast.

My wife used to drive a Model X Plaid. Once she drove my CT, she immediately decided she needed one.

Voilà, we bought our 2nd one. Probably the only house in our town with a duo (we live in California hahaha).

There's no other car/truck that compares to the CT. None.
For your wife, CybrGal is available for personalized licensed plates in CA. I just happened to see it when we were looking for mine.

I’m comparing it to the Highland and Juniper (new Model 3 and Y) and would say it’s night and day difference. I do agree it’s not a good comparison as they are different cars.

On roads without bumps and potholes, yes, the CT is ultra smooth and quiet.

Mine is a 35k VIN, it’s very possible things got better in later ones which is what Tesla is known for.

If you want to remain living in the ‘stone age’ of cars… don’t get a Tesla, period. CyberTruck is currently the halo of Tesla and quite possibly the entire auto industry…

I love mine.. even with its flaws…

Sounds like it. Mine is a 52k VIN (build Nov 15, 2024) and it’s very quiet with no sounds when going over bumps, etc.

Naturally I'm a bit nervous, the first ct I ever saw in public up close had a malfunction with the back left door. It could only open from the app because the buttons broke. What about garage parking? Is that even a thing with CT? What about range? I'm not interested in towing so I'll skip that. But I like truck stuff like having a bed. I love how the CT has good room for a carseat which is another priority. Just makes me nervous about all the issues. But now that I am in this chat, I feel better about it.
Garage parking: this was my biggest concern. Our garage is 23’ deep, and that’s the minimum amount of space you’ll want if you want to be able to easily park and open the tailgate or frunk while in the garage, and still be able to walk around the truck.

I’ve posted pictures of what it looks like in my garage in an older thread, but here it is for reference. I have about 4” from front bumper to garage door (and the frunk can open without hitting the door).

Absolutely. Ignore the FUD. To my knowledge there have been 2 physical recalls (someone may know more that I'm unaware of): 1. Wiper motor on very early builds (not mine). 2. Contrails (trim) pieces can come loose. Mine will get that recall but both sides are solid on mine, so again a non-issue. Software updates to make improvements that fall under the guise of a recall is just silly. Is a bug fix on your phone challenging? No, not at all. Same here. Honestly an actual benefit. Love this rugged Beast and would 100% recommend to anyone who asks.

The FSD that I downloaded last Friday before a 250 mile trip was another quantum leap forward. Drove me on roads with no cell coverage, edge or centerlines in the dark with incredible accuracy. Unavoidably hit a deer and NO damage to the truck. I left our home at 98%, charged for 7 minutes which cost me less than $5 on the trips to and from our destination.

PowerShare to back up our home when we experience a power outage is an awesome feature.

Free Supercharging offers from Tesla would be motivating. Look for that promotion.

Are you saying it hit a deer while FSD was engaged?
