I’m a very early reservation holder who has been dying to buy a Cybertruck since the 2019 announcement.

I absolutely don’t “need” a Cybertruck, but that doesn’t stop me from wanting one.

I was able to get a foundation series beast reserved with free supercharging, $12k off, and now the 0% financing offer.
Right now I’m finishing up a 48 hour test drive and am reminded of how much I enjoyed driving one the first time.

However, now that my Sunday delivery date draws nearer I’m getting cold feet about spending so much money on a definite luxury.

i can “afford it” but keep thinking of what else I could do with the 108k.

I also keep coming back to this being the end of the Foundation series. It seems unlikely there will ever be another 0% + free supercharging offer anytime soon as I’ve seen the local stock vanish. In hindsight I maybe should have saved $20k and picked up an AWD Foundation but they’re long since gone in my local area.

I’m really mostly venting a bit, but I welcome any advice either way on what to do! Should I just go ahead with it and sell it if it becomes a guilty burden?
Sorry to be slightly off topic. Is that free supercharging for the life of the vehicle or only the first year.

Here's the exact verbage:

"Customers who purchase a new Cybertruck Foundation Series are eligible for free Supercharging during your ownership of the vehicle. Order must be placed on or after February 28, 2025. Offer is tied to your Tesla Account and cannot be transferred to another vehicle, person or order, even in the case of ownership transfer."

Let us know how it goes! I have cold feet too for the same reasons. Delivery is scheduled for Thursday!
Me too. Delivery is hopefully tomorrow. I'm sitting at the Ford dealer where I'm selling them my Lightning?

I have to sell my 2016 ram! Good luck! Still nothing I've liked more than the cybertruck since it was announced.

I too just ordered my Cybertruck, and waiting for the online Tesla Sales Representative to schedule the delivery date.

Currently he is trying to sort out an ordering software glitch..... I am trying to trade-in my Model S for the Cybertruck, and take advantage of the CT 0% financing deal. However, the Sales Representative says its software is trying to transfer the FSD from my Model S to the Cybertruck, and wouldn't allow him to choose for the 0% financing option.

Apparently, the free FSD transfer and the CT 0% financing deal are not 'stackable,' so in order to have the CT 0% financing I cannot have the free FSD transfer.

I am totally okay to pay for the $8K FSD on the Cybertruck, and have the CT 0% financing. However, the Tesla software wouldn't allow the Sales Representative to do it ("can't even click that button", he said.)

I am sure it will be sorted out, and hope to take delivery of my CT soon. Fingers crossed.

How did it go?
Went really well!

It’s such an incredible vehicle. It’s still a lot of money, but I’m glad to have it.

There were a few little issues I had the delivery guy make note of, but nothing game breaking. One cantrail is a bit out of line, the back drivers door is a little bit out of line, the bed was missing some bolt covers.

Does it have bed D-rings? Those spots don't get covers.

No d-rings installed, but I'm sure that's what is actually missing.

Hopefully service has some on hand when I take it in.

Feet are no longer cold. The down payment button hurt and I haven't had to make a payment yet so maybe the regret sets in later ?

Right now I'm loving it and at least I'm not underwater at all.

I’m supposed to have delivery next Thursday. Foundation Beast. Was gonna wait a year til my Hummer lease is up. But the deal was too good. The free supercharging probably was the kicker for me. First Tesla. A little nervous excitement. I’ve never been great at hanging on to a vehicle long term. That’s my main anxiety. But w the software updates I’m more confident. I have demoed several times incl 48 hr. Now as I wait another week the time is dragging ! Only other concern is the condition of the vehicle. Friends w teslas (inc one foundation beast) say our dealership is great. 20 min away. So I’m nervously thrilled

My anxiety comes from getting rid of my 10 yr old ram. I still love it but it's getting old. Also going from no payment to 1100 is no picnic. But no other truck has interested me since the announcement in 2019.
