Mine was supposed to be delivered next Thursday. Showed up this morning. They asked if I wanted to move up delivery! Picked it up this afternoon. SO excited. Only issue so far is connecting my premium apps - you tube music/ Amazon music etc. Says Google blocking them. Have to figure that out. Foundation Beast. Fit and finish surprisingly good. The new cantrail on driver side misaligned. Made appointment. Still in shock I have one !

I’m a very early reservation holder who has been dying to buy a Cybertruck since the 2019 announcement.

I absolutely don’t “need” a Cybertruck, but that doesn’t stop me from wanting one.

I was able to get a foundation series beast reserved with free supercharging, $12k off, and now the 0% financing offer.
Right now I’m finishing up a 48 hour test drive and am reminded of how much I enjoyed driving one the first time.

However, now that my Sunday delivery date draws nearer I’m getting cold feet about spending so much money on a definite luxury.

i can “afford it” but keep thinking of what else I could do with the 108k.

I also keep coming back to this being the end of the Foundation series. It seems unlikely there will ever be another 0% + free supercharging offer anytime soon as I’ve seen the local stock vanish. In hindsight I maybe should have saved $20k and picked up an AWD Foundation but they’re long since gone in my local area.

I’m really mostly venting a bit, but I welcome any advice either way on what to do! Should I just go ahead with it and sell it if it becomes a guilty burden?
Buy it!

I don’t know what else you were planning to do with $108K, and you and I both know it won’t be as good as a Cyberbeast.

I call this less “cold feet” and more of a “fear of success”, like standing at the altar with the partner of your dreams.

Was the off road light bar mounted? Or do you have to wait for the so called email.
Mine was not mounted, and the delivery guy didn't know much about it to be honest. I'm not in a rush or anything personally, and hope they actually do have a better solution than just gluing it on.

Pretty much how mine went! Same cantrail is a bit wonky, but not too bad. I need to make a service appointment for the few issues.

Thanks!

I did buy it! It's in my driveway right now and I can't really believe it.

Congrats to all new Cybertruck owners! I also joined the CT family and took delivery this week.

When I was at the Tesla dealer, there were three Cybertruck's (including mine) waiting for the owners to take delivery at that same hour. I guess more Cybertruck's were being delivered for the rest of the days, as I saw a few more Cybertruck's were being lined-up behind the delivery tents.

Also, there were many new Model Y's being delivered at that same time slot. Too many that I lost count.

The lady working at the showroom told me that they were running behind, because so many new cars were scheduled to be picked-up at that day.

May be I will be buying a few more shares of TSLA after all, lol.

In the same boat. Hemmed and hawed for quite a long time but the 0% financing was too good to resist. Did the math and, with the lifetime supercharging, realized that once I added up what I wanted onto a non-FS CT, it was pretty much the same cost but without free charging. So, I kept hitting refresh on the Tesla inventory site in my area until a Foundation Series popped up -- Beast as all AWDs apparently were long gone -- and grabbed it. Take delivery tomorrow morning. Will join my 2018 Model S in the driveway.

So excited, mostly because of everything I've read on this site from all you enthusiastic posters, so thank you for that!

So far we love the Cybertruck. What an amazing machine!

It would be our household do-everything workhorse vehicle.

When my neighbor's kids saw the Cybertruck, they all stopped playing and came over to check it out like they saw a spaceship. :)

It even fits inside our garage!

Have had my res since 2020. all the BS that Elon did really made made me have second thoughts. I already own a Model 3. Have had that since 2020 as well so divesting would have negated all the sustainability we’ve achieved to date, as im in the point of ownership where it truly outpaces ICE vehicles.

the plan in 2020 was to wait until July 2025 when my daughter got her licence and we would go from two cars to three

test drove a CT - confirmed all I learned from this forum and the youtubers.
researched/test drove a Polestar (was close to settling on that, but no nacs, and strange tow hitch)
researched a Lucid Gravity - too expensive. too “beige”

had my eye on a 2024 FS AWD for the free supercharging/premium connectivity/FSD.

0% APR hit, just about all the inventory CTs disappeared so I ordered 2025 AWD with cyberwheels. Got antsy when I didnt have a delivery date by 6/15 so I called them and they offered me a
2025 AWD with core wheels and so I said done. got it on 6/20 and am so happy with it:

Well today is delivery day for my awd. Picking it up in a few hours.

I think it's just my nature but I am very nervous/anxious. I've been watching this truck for nearly 6 years and almost bought the foundation a few times but price was hight andyny nerves always gt me. Now that it's set for delivery im defientely experiencing cold feet/panic..I'm more of a worrier in nature so it's somewhat common.

Ive seen just about every YouTube video and read alevery forum. Also did a test drive. Maybe I just need therapy. Lol

Hoping for the best!
