Does anyone know of a waterless quick wash spray for the CT? Something like a spray on wipe off with a micro fiber towel. I did the BKF and Windex which made my CT look amazing, then tried to touch it up with just Windex and ruined the look. Had to go back and do another 3 hours of BKF and Windex. lol, I’m a pro at that part. I ordered a spray from The Chemical Guys they say can be used.

Wow looks like I need to try Optimum No Rinse. Just saw a video on it. So I’m going to do 4 gallons of water with 4 caps of Optimum and that will work on the rims as well looks like. Let me know if I got that wrong and thanks for input. Any others with ideas I’m sure we’re all can learn from it. Again, the BKF with the Windex wipe down after works like magic but don’t use one without the other.

for the rims i use straight Simple Green Degreaser in a spray bottle. Adams Tire cleaner with a tire brush to clean the tires. Chemical Guys Honeydew PH Neutral Soap, NO WAX or Gloss Enhancers or any aditives and foam cannon for washing the SS and ONR/water as a bug remover and detail spray for fingerprints. Also you MUST use IronX to decontaminate the rust it worked great for me. if your truck is super dirty then i use CarPro Reset Soap instead.

Nice I have to use the simple green. I have some browning (break dust) stained on my rims. Not sure what you mean by Iron X to decontaminate rust. I don’t have any rust. Is that an east coast thing? Car Pro Reset Soap, are you recommending that instead of Barkeepers Friend and Windex to detail the SS?

Carpro reset is a strong (and expensive) soap so i only used it when i first got home from my road trip, after my first wash i had a TON of surface rust show up on my truck. thats when i used the IronX to dissolve it and rinse it away, nothing showed up since. for my "regular" washes every few weeks or a month i use the chemical guys honeydew soap which cleans awesome. i have yet to use BKF and Windex, havent needed to yet. the Adams Tire cleaner and brush you need to clean the tires with a tire cleaner because of all the "mold release" that new tires have when they are made it gets rid of that and other dust and grime it makes the tire look great and then when you dress it with tire shine its a much nicer look after

Excellent thanks for the info. I highly recommend the Barkeepers Friend and Windex. I’ve done it twice (the first time was the night I brought the truck home I was excited I guess) then I did it again to clean up a few spots I missed. Takes about 3 hours but I have not seen a trucks SS look as good as mine YET. I have not needed to use it again so I’m happy that it’s more of a once every few months thing. Great for a nice evening in the garage with music and a nice bourbon lol. Headed to the store now to get the Simple Green.

I hand washed the beast yesterday for the first time and it was a workout for me. I used car soap and water. When I was drying it with towels, you could see plenty of ghost water spots. They disappeared when it was completely dry. I did have to touch up the body with Windex. That front window is a real bugger. You have to have NBA wingspan to get the inside of it. Someone mentioned a towel on a stick for the inside window. I feel sorry for the people that don’t have a garage to park in evey night. I don’t think I could manage without one as I like to keep my vehicles clean. What are the latest thoughts on using a car wash?

Yes, it’s from Out of Spec “Cybertruck Detail Final Episode” It a long video but you will get a good understanding of exactly how to go through the process and why it’s important to do it the way he says. If you are not completely happy or have something else that works better please let me know.

You have to do it at least once. Don’t be in a rush. I actually think it can be done in about 2 hours.
