Hi All!

I’m new here and really excited to be part of the Cybertruck community. I wanted to share a bit about my experience so far with our 2024 Foundation Series Cybertruck and hopefully get some clarity from others who’ve been through this.

We picked ours up back in May, and while I absolutely love the truck, the buying experience wasn’t what I expected. There were scratches, dings, and even rust in the wheels on delivery day. We’ve been stuck going back and forth with Tesla trying to get those issues resolved, but the communication has been all over the place.

One thing I’m especially confused about is what’s actually supposed to come with the Foundation Series package. Our salesman mentioned things like a light bar and charger installation, but we never received anything... no credit, no confirmation. I’ve also seen some people post about having both carpeted and all weather floor mats, a sunshade cover, etc.
So I’m hoping you all might be able to help clear a few things up:
  • Does anyone have a clear, official list of what’s included with the Foundation Series?
  • Did you receive things like the light bar, charger installation, or extra floor mats?
  • Did anyone else have issues with Tesla delivery( damage, missing items, or rust?)
  • And if so, how did you get things handled with Tesla?
I feel kind of silly asking all this here, but getting a straight answer from Tesla has been pretty frustrating. Every person I’ve spoken to says something different, so any input or advice would really mean a lot.

Thanks in advance looking forward to learning from everyone here!

This is the list of everything I received with my FS AWD Cybertruck in May 2024 (ordered last week of December 2023):

Wheel Aero Covers (4)
Rubber Floor Mats
Carpet Floor Mats
Roof Shade
Center Console Organizer
Gear Locker Dividers (2)
Bottle Opener L-track
L-track Hooks
Vault D-rings
Universal Wall Connector
PowerShare Home Gateway
Lifetime Premium Connectivity
35" AT Tires
White Interior Decor
Foundation emblems
Lifetime FSD
J1772 adapter, mobile charger, and the pigtails for the mobile charger for 120v and for 240v

As far as I remember, the Cyberbeast has the same list, but also included the light bar and a $4000 credit for the PowerShare installation.

At some point, some things changed, though I don't know what or when.

I just picked up a 2024 FS Cyberbeast last week. I did not have any of the buying experience issues you had. My truck was clean as a whistle with no rust or scratches that I am aware of. As for accessories, I think it is a little bit of a mystery.

If you refer to your Vehicle Configuration which should be page 1 of the purchase agreement, it shows what was included and what the price was. Mine shows the off-road light bar as included. It also shows a line item for "Premium Accessories." There was a list of the included "premium accessories" on the website when I bought the truck, but to see it, I had to be able to select the truck from inventory. However, when I bought mine, the inventory of FS Cybebeasts was sporadic at best and I have not seen another one available since I bought mine and I did not take a screenshot. However, here is what came with mine which is consistent with my recollection of the list I saw when I bought it as well as with what Grok said it was supposed to come with:

Both all weather and carpeted floor mats
Roof sunshade
Center console tray
L track hooks
L track bottle opener (I don't remember that one on the list, but it's in my truck)
D-Rings
Gear locker dividers
Mobile charger

My understanding is that the light bar is being rolled out and I have to wait my turn to get one. I think that earlier FS owners are just now getting their light bars and that installation has been paused for a new install method. Candidly, I'd like them to work out all the issues before they install mine anyway. Is your truck a Cyberbeast or an AWD. I think the light bar was only included on Cyberbeasts.

The Powershare Home Backup is something that was offered on the FS trucks sold earlier, but it was not included on my list of goodies. However, added to the list that was not available to early adopters is free supercharging and I have charged a few times now at the local SCs and my total charges are $0.00.

I just picked up a Universal Charger which I will get installed in the next week. That would have come with the Homesharing package. I also bought the door lights because I am a dork.

I really wish that it had included the bed cargo divider. I will probably end up biting the bullet on that. I'm having all the windows tinted next week, including the roof, so I think the roof sunshade is not going to be useful and there is no easy way to store it. I'd rather have had the front cargo net.

Did your truck come with free supercharging?

[with a May purchase you should have received (AWD) a $2500 credit which could be used for universal power connection or shopping at the Tesla store. I originally opted for the UHC but failure by their chosen installer, opted for the company store purchases which had to be used in its entirety on single purchase. FSD lifetime and premium connectivity lifetime was included. I agree it’s difficult to communicate with Tesla but I went to their service center and personally got things straighten out. I also have the phone number for their customer help center and found them VERY helpful. (877) 798-3752 One problem you’ll have to address is the credit had to have been spent within 1 year from date of purchase. Their help center may be a good place to start, next option is TSC.

GOOD LUCK. I have FS AWD, best vehicle I’ve ever had. I also have a 2023 MYLR which was great but haven’t driven it since taking delivery last July. ?

Yeah, we picked up our Cyberbeast back in May, and even the guys at Tesla said that the light bar will take time, but it may work out better because they are working on fixing the current issues, and no having it glue to the windshield. They said they were going to be doing something with the track on the top of the beast to lock it in place. I dunno - I've seen conflicting reports about that too!

I don't even know if the people working at Tesla know how the light bars are being distributed. I had one guy tell me it was by your order date, but another guy tell me it was according to your VIN number. I figure I'll get it when I get it and not fret lol.

My list is a copy of Loudness. But my FS AWD Cybertruck is a Beast. delivered in May 2024 (ordered 2nd day Elon announced the Truck):

Wheel Aero Covers (4)
Rubber Floor Mats
Carpet Floor Mats
Roof Shade
Center Console Organizer
Gear Locker Dividers (2)
Bottle Opener L-track
L-track Hooks
Vault D-rings
Universal Wall Connector
PowerShare Home Gateway
Lifetime Premium Connectivity
35" AT Tires
White Interior Decor
Foundation emblems
Lifetime FSD
J1772 adapter, mobile charger, and the pigtails for the mobile charger for 120v and for 240v
$4000 credit for the PowerShare was installed.
Lost power at my home and the PowerShare work perfectly.

I had the truck wrapped in Dallas and some issues with air suspension. Resolved at the service center in Dallas.

just ask for your light bar in the service app, i picked up my 2024 FS Cyberbeast 2 weeks ago, i made a service appointment that day for July 28, and to have the extra slat in the toneau cover fixed. it really is just that simple. i currently own 2 FS Cyberbeasts. remember the squeeky wheel gets the grease. also look in the app for your Credit, they are hard to find, but its there. powershare, its there, you just have to use it before it expires before 1 year. you can always ask the salesman to help you with the app, i'm 61 and i always ask them for help

$4000 credit for PowerShare.

You had to order by the end of May last year to get this. We did and I think it's the best deal on the truck they have ever had.

This right here is what you need to look for, @Freemangal87 . Your order agreement contains everything you get, regardless of word of mouth promises from (usually) ill-informed Tesla Advisors. It wasn’t that they were trying to deceive you - Tesla changed what came with FS trucks multiple times on them, seemingly without making it very well known.

It’s very important with Tesla to do quite a bit of research before buying. They added a free wrap at some point, then took that away, added free supercharging randomly, Powershare install came and went, etc.

But, back on track, look at your order agreement. The only questionable thing on there should be the “premium accessories” and I’ve never seen that list change.

I too, picked up my Beast in May ‘24. I was promised all of the above and more.

This is not my first Tesla, and I am well aware they now can be slow to do what they say. When I purchased my first Model S in 2014, they were far more vigilant in taking care of their customers. They wanted to grow the company, and they treated everyone great!

Now, after more than a year after the purchase of my FS Beast, I did receive my light bar (yesterday), after taking it in for a new cell phone charger (which did not get replaced- they said I already had the newest version, Rev C). Funny, others on this site said the newest part was a Rev 5, but service told me the Revs are alphabetical. Go figure.

But, to address the OP questions: I received FSD and several updates, since. I also received both sets of mats- carpet and the hard plastic ones (made in America). I also have the sun shade for the glass roof. And I got the full sized reconfigured wheel covers (after getting the Tesla temporary center caps- which I never installed, as I had already purchased some after-market ones).

And yes, I went through the hassle of getting the recalls for the accelerator pedal (a rivet) and the replacement wiper motor (in spite of not having any issue with the original, and now having the very issue it was supposed to fix)! I always thought it was a very minor issue, so I’m not going to complain if it sometimes moves 1 or 2 degrees from vertical, parked position.

ALL of the things I was promised, were delivered, but none were available at the time of purchase.
So, in spite of the delay, Tesla kept its promise to me, and I am satisfied.

Now if only they could replace my cant-rails, as the Federal recall notice from last year showed they would… it’s been in for service more than a few times since, for different minor issues, but so far, they are not available yet.

Oh well. They are not now, nor ever have been, loose, so I’m not too overly concerned. I feel certain they will get to it eventually. All told, it is still the best truck out there, by far.

I had a wonderful delivery experience in April and 2024 (and the truck has had no flaws develop since). I was blown away that such a modern and awesome vehicle was available at any price (and I'm not talking about the styling or looks)!

I got all the little goodies the other AWD owners have already mentioned (but I had to wait for the wheel covers to become available).
