It's America's mountain, Pikes Peak, and we're going to make a new record up top for the World's Highest Light show.

Tesla Cybertruck Join the World's Highest Light Show @ Pikes Peak - Aug 23 1000147646

The Denver Tesla Club is renting the entire mountain after 5pm on Saturday, August 23rd, 2025. The event is ticketed to cover the mountain costs, so get yours ASAP at https://worldshighestlightshow.com

The mountain is near Colorado Springs and has a paved road up to the top at over 14,000ft.

We've got room for over 200 vehicles, but tix are capped due to capacity constraints.

All Teslas are welcome, but we'd love to see a great Cybertruck turnout. There are many incredible vistas and photo opps on the way up and the surrounding area.

We'll also be putting together various events around the weekend, such as organized drives, socials, and offroading. Many are planning to camp nearby.

We'll have one of the forum sponsors, @Our Cyber Weekend in attendance, along with several known influencers like Whole Mars Catalog.

The light show itself will be arranged by Simon from xlightshows.io.

Colorado is amazing in the summer! Tesla owners are coming across the country. So grab your truck, your fam, some Tesla friends, get your tix and let's make a new record!

I can't wait to get back to Denver. The last trip was so much fun. The camping is going to be next level.

Some of my best efficientcy that I ever had was going through Yosemite this week. I am going to look up the elevation difference from charge 1 to charge 2 to see. Looking forward to the pikes peak drive to see 😜😜. Great question

I'm very curious how much battery you'll use to get up to the peak and how much you'll regenerate on the way down.
I did the drive last year but forgot the regen numbers(maybe 8-10% regen). What’s interesting is you don’t want to start with a topped off charge because you need the battery a little empty for the Regan brakes to work.

When I did the drive I used about 20% going up and gained about 8% coming down. So 12% round trip is pretty good considering you’re climbing to the top of a 14,000 ft mountain in a 7,000 lb truck. I had the ranger check my brake temperature on the way down and it was 58°. It was 64° outside so the brakes were still cold from being at the top. I’ve climbed all over the Rockies, Jackson Hole, Yellowstone, and Moab, and it always amazes me how well the truck does with efficiency when going off road.

Yes. I coasted down from Rocky Mountain national park, trail ridge road. Getting pretty nervous up there with 60 miles left of range(Model S) and would have about 6% estimated when I got down to Estates to charge. When I got to Estes I actually had more than 195 miles to make it all the way home, also had a -200 wh/mi. average.
