I'm really liking the newest FSD iteration, however one glaring real issue is a left turn where there is a median. Yesterday, it just turned too sharp and ran over the median with the rear tire. Is this something any of you have had to deal with? What solutions have you come up with?

The GROK update is not an FSD update; it’s a vehicle update. Nothing in FSD has changed (as far as I have heard) in FSD for CT since 13.2.9.
OK, my bad, but OP is still valid.

Agreed, but hasn’t that been previously reported? What I keep waiting for is the updated Cybertruck controller, which should help with all these lane-positioning issues. It was promised, along with reverse, start from park, and actually smart summon, months ago.

The left-turn issue has been here - basically - since FSD was released for Cybertruck. I just think it does not like the left side....

- Turns too sharp and hits the medium with the rear wheel when making a left turn in the left lane.
- Turns too sharp on a double-yellow line and lines up in oncoming lane of traffic
- Stays too far in the left lane - sometimes crossing the left line
- Stays too far in the left lane and swings wide-left to pass a truck - often hitting the rumble strips or completely crossing the left yellow line on the edge of the road.

I've reported all of these a number of times, but they still happen - as recently as last week.

So, nothing new.

Just so everyone is aware, all versions of FSD outside of the one they are using for Robotaxi will take a back seat for a little while, as they are hyper focusing their effort on the initial rollouts.

I too had FSD left turn issues after the ā€œGrokā€ software install. I had two incidences, at different locations, both occurring on secondary roads near the house that I drive almost daily. When turning left (from a median divided road to a four lane double yellow stripe divided road), the CT turned into and continued driving in the opposite lane, until I took over. The second was moments later when I made a left turn from a non median four lane road to a non median two lane yellow striped road. It again drove into and continued driving in the opposite lane, until I took over. it had never done that in 1.5 years of doing this route.

yes mine does that also, If the median does NOT have lines painted for the AI to drive by. As long as lines are visible it does a great job of staying between them.

They really should give everyone the Robotaxi software. Keep it supervised and all, but get all that extra compute from the millions of vehicles out there.

I hope we will see unsupervised FSD rollout to end users within 6 months, but for now the robottaxi software and FSD are completely different stacks.

I'm super excited about 2 main things:

-the ability to sleep in the driver's seat for long distance trips.
-the ability to place my truck on the robotaxi network in my small town.

Hope we see it on the truck soon, but we don’t even have summon yet. The sexy cars will definitely get unsupervised before the trucks do, only question is how long before?

I’ve had the same problem. It’s only happened once but it still gets close.

Even when we do get UFSD idk how comfortable I'd be sleeping while it drives. Maybe pay a little less attention, but sleeping would freak me out.
