Had to bite on this one. Seems to be a fair price to add a decent amount of protection to the truck. Now we need factory off-road bumpers.

Install scheduled for next Saturday.

I want to buy this, badly, but I’m going to try a wait-and-see strategy because I’ve learned the hard/expensive way that being a early adopter isn’t necessarily the best strategy, particularly when it comes to the CT.

Yeah. I have many third degree burns from this habit too but I can’t seem to learn. Love getting cool shit when it comes out.
i guess ā€œearly adopterā€ is kind of a personality trait.

I’m eligible to buy now because FS however I’m gonna wait until Christmas or into the new year before I even consider pulling the trigger.

I’m eligible too per my email but I can’t say I understand AT ALL what Tesla is thinking limiting this to FS owners.
are we sure that’s the case?

Wonder if there was some change to trucks built after this date. Not sure when Foundation production ended, but I noticed this during checkout.

Presume FS to start is in part to give priority access.

It’s just priority access there is no functional difference between them it will fit fine on any cybertruck.

Curious to see how much extra weight this adds, and the impact on range.

But what a nice surprise. Despite sub-stellar sales, it shows that Tesla is still committed to the Cybertruck to release more accessories. This is a great one to see. Not a gimmick.

For those of you getting this installed soon, try to see how much weight this adds, and if you have time to do a before / after miles per kWh even though I doubt the impact will be significant due to the weight… but wondering what the impact of removing the wheel mud flaps / aero kits is? Probably someone answered that somewhere already….
The total weight of the package comes in at 185 lbs

Looks like it is only limited for about 3 weeks until we get into September.
