To be honest my FSD has been perfect for the last couple of months... And my CT has never had the issues many have posted in regards to self driving.
Maybe I push my across more edge cases than the normal driver because I've definitely let FSD do some sketchy stuff (but nothing outright dangerous) lol. But yeah, overall it's been great!

I mean why wouldn’t there be improvements?
😬

Who’s gonna tell him? Although I guess “having” FSD is an improvement from where we started - for MONTHS. 😑

It’s a whole new version, not just a minor upgrade. Have some faith in the dev team!
What about my post indicates that I don’t? 🤔

I feel like you are severely lacking context, amigo. The entire framing of the tweet is acknowledgment of how the CT has not been keeping up with the S3XY vehicles as it pertains to FSD. This isn’t controversial, critical or debatable— it’s just a fact.

Them telling us that the CT is going to get some love this time is great news (hopefully, we’ll gain parity- although I certainly wouldn’t hold my breath for that). It’s simultaneously acknowledgment of the fact that it hasn’t been getting that love.

That is all. 😐

And, from a business standpoint, why would it? We probably make up less than 1% of Teslas on the road. Granted, most of us have FSD as opposed to the sexy cars having only half to 2/3s with FSD, but still. CT is a bit on the back burner for Tesla. It sucks, but if I’m being totally unbiased, I understand and I’ll wait patiently.

Mine hasn't been perfect all the time, but it's getting very close. The vast majority of drives have no necessary safety disengagements.

I did just get a software update, I didn't look to see if it changed the FSD version number but I'm running FSD 13.2.9, and it seems like it prefers to be about 6 inches further right in lane position (on average) than previously. It actually feels too far right by slight margin but maybe this was a down-n-dirty temporary fix for the times it was so far left it clipped lane markers or curbs.

I'm sure ver. 14 will fix these deficiencies in the Cybertruck, relative to Y and 3. I'm super stoked FSD is "already" so good. The massive improvement in the last year or so really took me by surprise.

Owned the truck for about 15 months now, since day one Ive never had issues with lane centering. Its always down the middle unless Im passing a Semi truck, at that point it moves away from the semi a bit. Which I know is normal.

Which gets me to my next point, why is my CT better than others when it comes to that? Never once have I calibrated the cameras.. Just very strange that not all CTs are the same when it comes to lane centering issues..

True, I don’t have the stats on hand but I have seen estimates on take rates for SEXY to be 10-25%. Granted this may be increasing and as you said CT likely has a higher percentage take rates.

Mines been mostly good with lane centering. It was really bad when FSD was first added to the truck. I still occasionally run over some reflectors though when going through tighter turns on 2 lane roads.

Overall I am pretty happy with it. But I will accept more updates lol
