And, from a business standpoint, why would it? We probably make up less than 1% of Teslas on the road. Granted, most of us have FSD as opposed to the sexy cars having only half to 2/3s with FSD, but still. CT is a bit on the back burner for Tesla. It sucks, but if I’m being totally unbiased, I understand and I’ll wait patiently.
Tesla has over 7 million cars sold and less than 400,000(estimated in 2023. Not including us) FSD drivers, no where near 2/3. only about 17%. We are actually probably a pretty high percentage of FSD compared to all other models.

Good to know. Pulled a number out of my ass, probably should have led with that.

To be honest my FSD has been perfect for the last couple of months... And my CT has never had the issues many have posted in regards to self driving.
I tried it today after the update and it immediately did something stupid and I had to disengage. I guess we all have our own definitions of perfect.

I've noticed lately activating FSD changes dynamics to Comfort, and deactivating returns it back to the previous mode. That is very annoying.

Owned the truck for about 15 months now, since day one Ive never had issues with lane centering. Its always down the middle unless Im passing a Semi truck, at that point it moves away from the semi a bit. Which I know is normal.

Which gets me to my next point, why is my CT better than others when it comes to that? Never once have I calibrated the cameras.. Just very strange that not all CTs are the same when it comes to lane centering issues..
I had to disengage FSD on a drive from Los Angeles to San Jose because it was OVER the left lanes yellow line and either on the reflectors (bump bump bump bump…) OR on the rumble strip! It was a bit annoying! It wasn’t doing that the whole drive but did seem to get worse if FSD was engaged for a long time. Another time it was hugging the lane divider when in the right lane and then it slowly started creeping left until it was literally driving in the middle of both lanes! At that point it suddenly indicated and moved “officially” into the left lane. All this happened on Thursday on 2025.26.4.

Maybe I push my across more edge cases than the normal driver because I've definitely let FSD do some sketchy stuff (but nothing outright dangerous) lol. But yeah, overall it's been great!
Mine has been OK but some things have been sketchy. Taconic state parkway in NY near 84 and I84 causes left-hugging big time suspect due to narrow road. Entry ramp madness has had the CT take wrong ramps (turn against traffic to take ramp not marked and then ignore yellow line on that ramp).. And finally - sigh - does not like to find my driveway and goes right past it all the time and likes to turn the wrong way out of it.... So.... I watch it still like I would watch a smart 6-year-old that thinks it can drive. Hopeful with v14 things will improve.

Same here! When I use it I don’t experience things so many here complain about. *shrugs*

Maybe it's to make us more comfortable with FSD.

Have you guys done a camera calibration for lane centering issues? Mine will drift in and out, but the bigger issue is left turns, sometimes cutting so sharp it runs over the curb.

Has there been a marginal improvement of FSD? I noticed a couple of things yesterday:
1) It slowed down in a school zone
2) It started FSD from a parked position in a parking lot

I've seen it do these very seldom before, so perhaps I'm just jumping the gun on a rare observance.

I think FSD has barely clipped a low curb once on me; something I could have easily done myself. The model will improve as time goes on. People keep conveniently forgetting that this truck is an entirely new platform.
