Just enjoy the CT. The fact that you all drive a CT means something...you all are accomplished individuals.
And here I am still trying to join the ranks of you all....

Sorry. You’re right. Too much wax poetic. It’s an awesome car. Love driving it. Grateful every day for my healthy family and all the things I can afford to do.

I downloaded my Supercharging history from 2024 and 2025 with the Cybertruck. It was a little less then 1k spent. That was all road trips of course. I couldn't do anymore road trips really then that. So unlimited Supercharging wouldn't matter much to me.

But it's a nice perk to have. I do kind of wish they gave it to the early adopters with the first Foundation series. I understand that the truck was in high demand then though.

I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to sit somewhere charging the truck. I would still mostly charge at home unless it was a road trip.

The best way to get ahead is to do something for a living that brings you joy. Whatever that may be.
I know that sounds kind of hallmarky but anything like that you do, you do well, and that pays.
I do something I love for a living and I’m paid well for it, but I still like to sit and meditate at the supercharger a couple of times a week because my job is very stressful and taxing and it gives me some space to reset my energy and not bring it home to my family.

I personally went to a lot of effort to get free supercharging not because of the math but because I like the idea that even if someone came and took every cent I have. I can still get in the car and go anywhere I want with my wife and kids. It’s a certain kind of freedom having money doesn’t afford me because money can always go away.
Crazy, yes, irrational yes. Would I do it again? yes.

Having said all that, we have had free supercharging since our signature series model x in 2016 and by my math I have used about $45k in Tesla energy since then.
What I do with my spare change is buy SPY because I’m simple and not educated enough to invest on my own.
The math of nonlinear investing is too complicated for me, but I know for sure that $45k has amounted to WAY more money than that in gains and dividends.
So those of you who say this is a dumb benefit, waste of time etc. Good for you. Do what works best in your life. I’ll keep doing what is best in mine.
Yup. I feel you brother. I did the calculation on my 17MS (with an average 306 Wh/mi) and I’ve used about $14,000 in “included” Tesla Energy/Dime over my 136k miles.

I'm all for being thrifty and investing, and that's a good path to personal financial freedom. I think my issue with going out of my way to Supercharge for free is that nothing of value is created, it's a zero sum game. To me, that doesn't provide a sense of reward or accomplishment. It feels empty. I would rather spend my time actually creating value, not just getting if from someone else for free.

In respect that. Just don’t see eye to eye.

It should be acknowledged that the total dollar amount of the Supercharging is not relative in the context of this discussion because the premise was people charging at their local supercharger who could charge more conveniently at home. Home prices are typically 1/3 to 1/4 that of Superchargers.

But, yeah, if you go on a lot of road trips, the savings from free Supercharging can really add up.

That's a bit of a shortchange for FS Cyberbeast folks. We had faith the company ahead of time...
Take solace in the fact that they just added some portion of $15k to the used resale price to you car.

When they rolled out the Luxe package on the CB, did they still offer 0% APR on it? It looks like that offer is now gone on the CB but still available for the other two models.

That is very interesting. That makes the difference in price between the beast and AWD the biggest it’s ever been. I think.

Huh, I wonder if that is intentional or a configuator error since you can't add FSD to it...
