Yeah, so I was I - the uncertainty around the $7500 credit ending in Q4 plus the uncertainty of the software update for Power Share with Powerwall is making it harder for me to argue that the CT can provide a lot of benefits for my wife and I . . .

One interesting twist now is that we can order on Sept 30 and not take delivery on that day and still get the $7500 credit. So that could give a little overlap into Q4 to assess the situation. If it is somehow better then I assume cancelling the order would just forfeit the $250 deposit, right? Conversely if October 1 shows AWD only with luxe and a jump in price then I made the right move.

That also assumes they keep the current 0% promo til the end of September.

I did. I believe one day they will offer the lux as stand alone package.

I too think they will include AWD in the luxe package plan and make CT cost line up with S and X, I also think they will discontinue RWD at some point.

You were spot on about discontinuing RWD. I agree with your thoughts on making AWD include luxe (but then taking that off in the future to lower the price when needed). Then they can say it wouldn't even qualify for the tax credit since price would be $95000.
