where tf did they say "it's ok to be drowsy"? did you arrive at this conclusion?
Literally the topic of this thread. Not necessarily that it is OK, but if it detects that you are it suggests engaging FSD...so the fact that it is "OK" is definitely implied:

Per Tesla owner @greentheonly

Hm, interesting messaging shift in 2025.32.3.Now the drowsiness/lane departure alerts suggest FSD.- Lane drift detected. Let FSD assist so you can stay focused.- Drowsiness detected. Stay focused with FSD.

Tesla Cybertruck Teslas will now recommend FSD when lane drift or driver sleepiness/drowsiness detected 1757705998258-vh

You somehow played this out in you head to read:

"Hey Driver, FSD here. I noticed you are starting to fall asleep at the wheel. But that's totally ok! We do it sometimes too. Here, hit this button to let me take over and you can go back to nap-town".

If by "somehow" you mean using common sense rational logic, then yes. That is what it is positively reinforcing in different words. I'm not sure how any reasonable person could interpret it any differently, except for the part about going back to "nap-town."

The messaging has now taken a 180-degree turn from "FSD turns off when it catches you being drowsy too much," to "Turn on FSD when it sees that you are drowsy."

I cannot understand it for you.

Precisely… and this is the risk of the way it is worded.

most of us understand the risk.. some turn a blind eye.. some are trolls.
Yep. Tesla can't write a dissertation on an alert card 🤷‍♂️

the wording is fine. if someone is too retarded to grasp the meaning, then they need to sell their vehicle and download the Robotaxi app

Tesla hasn't released any software versions that are Full Self Driving yet. Only Full Self Driving Supervised.

Is English your second language or are you just being difficult to try to imply Tesla has been misleading their customers?

To be fair- tesla changed the name from “Full self driving” to “full self driving (supervised)”. Tesla is facing multiple lawsuits for this very nomenclature, with claimants indicating that they made claims (my hw3 will be able to drive itself with full autonomy) and never delivered on that. So yeah. Some do feel mislead.

use the FSD Supervised which requires your Full Attention while you are drowsy… Got it, thanks for the clarification…

Full Self Driving Supervised.
That sentence is an oxymoron. It can't be "full self driving" yet require supervision.

"Partial Self Driving with Supervision" makes more logical sense....but less marketing sense. I think that has to be his point.

I don’t know. Heard that argument before and I see where it comes from but if all you have to do is watch it and it eventually requires zero pedal or wheel input, it is possible to fully self drive without ignoring it and reading a book.
Factory workers are supervised, you can’t argue that they don’t do all the work themselves just because someone is sitting in a glass room on the second floor watching them.

I have never heard it before or even thought about it until this discussion in this thread. I am just thinking about it logically. Full means total; complete; 100%.

Tesla Cybertruck Teslas will now recommend FSD when lane drift or driver sleepiness/drowsiness detected 1757741469197-n9

Not lacking or ommiting anything. If you have to pay attention to intervene, if necessary, then it is not "full."

It could be called "Self driving (supervised)" and it would not be an oxymoron. But they chose to use the word "full." To @Baldyloxx 's point, they could have used different language, but they chose not to. No doubt for marketing reasons; and the hope that it will one day achieve "full" status. But it has never been there yet.

Factory workers are supervised, you can’t argue that they don’t do all the work themselves just because someone is sitting in a glass room on the second floor watching them.
I don't think this is a good analogy. The supervisors looking through the glass can't intervene at a moment's notice. So, the factory workers are self-sufficient, and if they make a mistake and cut their arm off because they got too close to a machine, or something, the supervisors can't stop that from happening. The supervisors can hold a safety meeting afterwards, and perhaps create new policies to help prevent it from happening again, but the accident still happened.
