My issue was him speeding up to prevent me from merging. There’s no shoulder past the merge lane, so I had to floor it myself and out-accelerate him. The side views show this best.

In any case you may be absolutely right that this isn’t anything to pursue. Thanks for the reply.

Let it go. 100%. If anything, send it to Wham Bam Tesla cam. Cops will surely do nothing to the other driver based on this evidence.

The only thing it shows, for sure, is you not obeying a traffic light and coming to a complete stop.

Happens all the time to me. Worst cities in order of most aggression: Longmont, fort Collins, and Boulder. I just leave them in the dust or act like I don't see them.

This is definitely a non issue. Let it go.
The only option available to me was to out-accelerate him, …
No, it wasn’t. You could have let him pass you. He was accelerating hard enough to make it safely pass you had you let him. Considering you were going to slow down for the next left, should have been an option to just let him go.

Dude, he drives a Subaru. Show a little compassion for the poor soul.

THIS!

“When someone shows you who they are by driving a Subaru, believe them!”😆

Also, “901” does that mean you’re in Memphis? Born and raised their!

You made an illegal turn on red because you didn't stop and they got angry because they had the right of way. The fact that you drive a badass Cybertruck and they have to drive around in a Subaru just added insult to injury and made them hate their life for a few seconds. If you take this to the cops, they will tell you to be happy that you didn't get a ticket. You have already spent too much time worrying about this. Nobody got hurt. Move on.
