Amen. The relationship between reps and docs requires a zofran to witness a lot of the time.
It’s not an accident that they are often young women who look a certain way too.
100% accurate.. If they could get away with sending them to offices in a thong somehow they would do it.

Bump. What about the one CTmods did with their contest, where the winners ended up receiving a 20% coupon instead of actually winning the prize they won and advertised. In addition - and don't quote me because I don't know the accuracy of this statement, just an observation, but if you watch the last video Tesstudio posted for the new screen swivel review, the reviewer kept saying I got this from Tesstudio or CTmods, so they might be the same people. I doubt a reviewer posting a video of a product would shout out a competitor.
I don’t who teams up with who but it’s obvious this happens as you point out.
It’s part of what makes me rage out about all this. They legitimately sit and laugh at us in my opinion and how gullible we all are.
They are dishonest about who they are, where they get the products, for how much, when they will get them, when they will ship them and how much it costs them to do so. At every level.
I happen to know an American distributor who was offered to sell the $800 subtrunk fridge. Guess what he wanted to sell me one for ? $350.
Try get any of those fuckers to price this thing a hair under $700. I dare you. Challenge you. See if you can.

It's tough for a small business to give away anything. They probably agreed to write those for each other prior to any contests.

I don't think they are a small business, but that's besides the point, then simply don't run a contest on a public forum if you're not prepared to honor it.

If he was willing to sell it for $350 then that just shows how huge of a markup they are putting on these things. I mean you can tell that anyway because if you wait a few months all of the products prices drop drastically. Even below their DM me now for super duper coupon prices.

That’s exactly my point. If $350 is a small profit for him and it’s marked up 100% from that even “on sale” , we’re being fucked by someone along the way right?
I’m not a fool. I understand supply chains cost morey but that factored into his price too.

All I know is that interacting with these guys, and by that I mean the entire class of businesses, not any one in particular, brings out the worst in me.
In general, I consider myself a pretty nice guy and by no stretch what you might call a tough customer but every email and phone call I have with these people makes me an ugly American.
I mean…I feel like Les Grossman talking to them most of the time because that’s what it seems to require to get things done.
Do any of you have any tips on a different approach that actually works?

What's the deal with these products? Do all the vendors get together to place an order with a manufacturer to hit the MOQ then try to sell as many as they can without undercutting each other and still be profitable?
Doesn’t help that they respond confusingly to threads about each other even sometimes directly in each others threads.
Basically, it serves the commercial interest to blur the lines for them. It makes them less accountable and harder for people to hold them accountable for shipping times, after sales service etc.
