What’ law states it’s illegal to delivery from factory ?
Texas
Texas law prohibits direct-to-consumer auto sales. Texas residents can purchase a car from Tesla's website, but it is handled as an out-of-state transaction and must be completed before the vehicle ships to Texas. Tesla recently added the ability to include tax, title, license, and registration in the sale price of the car so the purchaser doesn't have to pay that separately once they receive the vehicle. In 2015, Tesla lobbied the Texas Legislature to modify the law to allow Tesla to sell directly to consumers, and specifically allow Tesla employees to discuss "financing, leasing, or purchasing options" at the firm's existing galleries in Austin, Dallas, and Houston.[65][66] Texas considered legislation in 2015 to allow Tesla to operate in the state but legislation was not passed.[67][68]

As of 2016, most of the GOP delegates support direct sales while Governor Greg Abbott prefers the current system. According to Texans for Public Justice, Tesla spent $1.3 million on lobbyists, while dealerships spent $1 million.[69]

Awesome! Glad it all went well.
Didn't get to pick up my Cyberbeast as planned during their GigaTexas quarterly Factory Delivery Event because it's stuck on a carrier somewhere in Texas but, Tesla went out of their way to find me an equivalent Cyberbeast with short notice so I'll be picking mine up this Sunday 🤞🤞

Has anyone actually done a Factory Delivery? Are they still doing it? Would love to get my standard AWD at the factory and do a tour!

Ss far as I know, Tesla is still doing it. They offer me a GigaTexas delivery of my Model Y Performance nut I declined it. I did take a factory delivery if mt 3rd Cyberbeast there and it will wild. There were hundreds of Teslas being delivered over that weekend, for the end of 4th quarter delivery event.
