Left of lane hugging fixed

Within the last 2 software updates my truck isn't hugging the left of the lanes on the express way anymore.
That was my only CT complaint.

I thought the same thing until it started doing it again. I think it has a lot to do with wind. FSD doesn't have the ability to correct a side wind trying to push the truck. Who knows

It has a harder time keeping center lane during a curve. It feels like a boat trying to aim into the wind. But I suspect it’s the system. Like it’s supposed to be correcting the steering 100 times a second and it’s only correcting it 10 times a second. Something like that because it eventually gets it right but not fast enough.

After the last update, I’m still seeing the left lane line hugging issue. Also, on my drive last night, FSD was about to run through a red light if I hadn’t intervened. Love FSD, gotta keep an eye on it. Stay safe out there!

My original AWD always hugged the left. The Beast I upgraded to in the Spring has never had any hugging issues. I wonder why this is?

I have the original Foundation edition and before 13 FSD it never hugged left or right. But when 13 came it fell in love with the left of the lane.

After the last update, I’m still seeing the left lane line hugging issue. Also, on my drive last night, FSD was about to run through a red light if I hadn’t intervened. Love FSD, gotta keep an eye on it. Stay safe out there!

I had mine today change lanes in the middle of a protected intersection which is illegal. Earlier this week I also had it merge into the oncoming lane in a 2 lane highway to try and pass semis in front of me when it wasn't safe to do so. This was very surprising to me as it had not done that the last 5 months I've had it and only started doing it in the last 2 weeks. Not sure if that was a new feature added in the recent updates but it's definitely not ready to do something like that and could end up hurting or killing me/someone.

You gotta be careful, that sounds like some IRobot kinda stuff.

Mine doesn't hug all the time but on left curves it crosses the yellow center lines a bit, enough to be dangerous as would hit oncoming traffic. On the same curves coming back it doesn't have an issue when they are right curves.

Hoping V25 improves this maybe.

There are as many reasons that FSD hugs lane lines as humans have.

Correction: Humans have more reasons like.

36 hours of overtime
Age
glasses (the lack of)
texting
eating
sickness
stupidness
etc.

...


However - there are some ways I have corrected this in both my MP3 and Cybertruck.

updates
Camera Calibration
Cleaning cameras
wait for sun glare go away
wait for "the powers that be" to re-draw lines
wait for the idiot to stop hugging the lines on the opposite side.
don't worry about it <---I'm doing this more and more the older I get. It fixes TONS of things. Humans provide me with a ton of daily practice on this one.

Eliminating the dry wipe next would be great. Not defaulting the wiper to being on when autopilot is engaged would be a helpful toggle to have to start.
