I purchased the Mars full rack system and installed it last week, and I’m pretty happy with the functionality and look. I also bought the front and rear light bars. The front light mounts to the rack using sliding nuts inside the tracks, while the rear lights seem to use the universal bracket system. I searched the site but couldn’t find any details on how to mount the rear lights. Has anyone installed theirs? If so, a photo would be great.

Howz-it!! Have the same set up and love the rack system as it’s been incredible! Need to post a picture of it carrying our Gemini OC2! Anyway, I was just about to purchase the rear amber lights as well and was assuming the directions would be on a QR Code somewhere in the packaging. Definitely following this thread and I’ll try and reach out to the guys on their Discord channel as they respond quite quickly.
Hawaii no ka ‘oi!

I have some but haven't had time to install them yet. I'm trying to only do it once, and I want physical toggle switches since none of the off-road companies have developed 48v controllers yet.

@Mars Adventure Gear do you guys have any guides?

Howzit! I had some extra hardware so I ended up sliding one of those flat nuts inside the crossbar channel.

I had to drill out the bracket they provided to fit the bolt since the screw was too small. Kind of surprising they don’t include that hardware in the kit. The instructions are just paper, really generic, and unlike the front light bar there’s no QR code.

Did you install the Mars front light bar? The thing I don’t like about that bracket is how it sticks up above the crossbar height, which means anything longer than the front rack ends up sitting on top of the light. I’ll post some photos later. I plan on carrying OC1 and stand-up boards, so I’ll probably end up modifying the bracket.

They look super nice. So is Howzit a popular Hawaiian greeting too?

Yes! Probably common because of surfing. Great waves in both places

That’s some pretty sophisticated deductive etymology. Don’t think I would have reached the same conclusion by myself but it makes perfect sense. Thanks for the insight.
