Yeah, that always confuses me when it goes away.A very basic no brainer - keep the rear view mirror camera on the screen when turn signal is used.
I wish Tesla would sell an aftermarket digital mirror that taps into the rear camera. I really dont want to install a 3rd party one.I REALLY would love to see an overhaul of the digital mirrors. We should be able to have a 180 degree rear view combination of the side repeaters and rear camera in one continuous large bar across the top of the screen; thus eliminating all rearward blind spots.
This is the one thing holding me up from deleting my side-view mirrors.
Agreed, but I've all but given up on this happening.I wish Tesla would sell an aftermarket digital mirror that taps into the rear camera. I really dont want to install a 3rd party one.
Exactly. It'd be nice to walk up and have it pop open w/o needing to press the pillar button. Also, it'd be nice if I open my drivers door and leave it open - let me open the back door to put something on the floor w/o pulling out my phone to get in the app, or reaching into the truck to unlock all the doors from the dash...Whats interesting is that it can be done from the app, so its definitely coded in there…
Wes has already stated they will never implement this on the CT (or the 3/Y which also have pop open door from the app) because unlike the MX, they won't be able to close themselves.Exactly. The second part is possible, you probably have the setting Set, for only open drivers door on approach, set it to all and it should do what you want, if I’m understanding you correctly.Exactly. You can already do this, but it must register as an established point on the map. I don't think you can drop a pin with long-press or anything.phone app, location tab, touch a point to Nav to, must search, no touch
