I just got 14.1 and it’s awesome! But I still can’t figure out how to tell it to back into my garage in my third stall where my charger is.
Do you guys know how to train it? Is it just from where you start (so it will go back to the same spot when you come home?).
Thanks

From what I have read, you just gotta start backing in yourself then it will eventually start doing it.

I am under the same impression. Isn’t that what artificial intelligent does is learn?
No.

The vehicle itself doesn't learn. Tesla sends data centrally and that data trains the entire system for everyone.

There is some internal memory for preferred routing, destinations, and is thought to be for garage parking, but those on TMC have not been able to successfully get their cars to back in on a regular basis, yet.

I'm not sure how much ability it has beyond finding the driveway. I park in the right bay (two doors, not one big wide door). The truck steers into the driveway, hugging what would be the center of the concrete with the driver's side. It sees my wheely bins sitting between the garage doors and steers right (towards the correct bay) and stops. The result is the truck lined up for the right door, but at a funky angle that would never allow me to get inside. It does this reliably, so far...

My truck started backing into my garage this weekend prior to that it would pull in forwards. It was not quite in the correct spot so I am going to put some parling lines down and give that a try

I've been working on it parking in my garage by nudging the truck into the garage. It does turn into my short sorta-steep driveway and I finally got it to drive all the way into the garage... It took a few times and it still parks a few inches, too short, to close the garage door. The stop warning in the front comes on....it is learning.

giving it a little acceleration tap -nothing heavy or continuous - just enough to not let it come to a complete stop and nudges on the wheel - to give it confidence to keep moving (like training it.. it sounds weird but seems to work)
