'Tis the season in the Northern states to deal with defrosting the windshield in the morning. Whenever I defrost the windshield, it clears very well, except for the front cameras. Isn't that supposed to have some sort of defrost ability like the B pillar cameras? Anyone else dealing with this?

If you turn on defrost in the app it will turn on all of the defrost functions

Not for me. Defrost in the app takes care of the windshield. What you see in the photo over the camera never gets cleared. I have to either hop on a stool and scrape it off, or wait for the sun to melt it. The wipers are useless taking it off, and using the washer fluid doesn't seem to help clear it either.

Additionally, FSD is useless in the morning until I physically clear it.

Following this thread. I also find the camera area on my windshield to be fogged or won’t clear ice.

Still 90 degrees here in Texas. Maybe winter, or even fall, will come our way at some point and I can come back to this thread.

Well, us northerners get a little taste of everything. There no committing to one season here. Some would call it having our cake and eating it too.

Or trying to insulate your frozen nuts with the cake.

I would schedule a service appointment - it looks like your camera defroster is either unplugged or broken.

A service appointment sounds appropriate. I could get the other stuff done while its there, camera cleaning since they have to open it up anyway for this issue, and the tire rotation since they have it. Next appt isn't for another couple of weeks in the service centers around me. I'll update what happens.

I have the service request in, just waiting for it to get reviewed so I can schedule it in. Looks like it is 17 days out minimum.
