oh no. now back to the slow speeds on standard?
Yup. I’m now back to fiddling with speed profiles during my hour commute, versus on 14.1.7 and even 13.2.9, where it literally never left standard.

I do hope this gets fixed quickly

Got Mine Last Night, tried it out this morning, no more jerkiness. Still can't get it to use the same route to work or even give it to me on a regular basis to select. So I only let it drive so far , take over until it can't go another way and then redeploy.

The only thing I need the Cybertruck to be able to do is not to have that quick/jerk acceleration when taking off from a full stop. It doesn't need that level of engagement. It should be more human/natural.

Thus far seems smooth.

Best of luck. My wife hates every version of FSD. Not an early adopter. Also doesn't like stopping for any reason no matter the length of the drive. For me stopping to charge is NBD. Version 4 superchargers this weekend were at 123 Kw, nowhere near 325. Can't wait for real version 4 speeds up to 500Kw.
It will charge faster as you get better at using it. To reach peak charging speeds you need two things:

1) A low enough state of charge at arrival (I shoot for single digits)
2) Enough pre-conditioning time before arrival at a Supercharger. This time of year you want to be navigating to the supercharger at least an hour before you arrive, longer is better.

Rolled in with 11% and BMS handled preconditioning.

100 percent. Tesla finally got stopping at stopsigns comfortable, but it guns it right after stopping. Uncomfortable for my passengers. If you’re coming to a full stop with a vehicle this powerful, the acceleration has to be more gradual. That’s my only complaint right now. That and some parking rules. Home? Back in. Lots? A toggle for “optimize for closeness” or “try not to park next to anyone if possible, or only on one side if that’s not possible”

It strikes me that being a good "supervisor" depends on consistency from the vehicle. Knowing what to expect, what it's good at, where it's weak. This constant changing makes it less safe. Updates are one of the things I love about Tesla, but also something I've kinda grown to hate.

I got 14.2 this morning on CT — Space Coast region. I have 14.2 on model Y 2026. It is much smoother on drives. However, it has trouble finding my house and pulling into driveway. I’ve had to disengage to get it go into my driveway. I checked setting and it has driveway highlighted. So… I see how it performs over the coming days.

I've had the same experience -- going 10 - 15 MPH *below* the speed limit on I-35E, going south out of Saint Paul, MN, not 'seeing' speed limit signs for several miles until it got one that said 70MPH. This was NOT an issue fwith 13.2.9 NOR 14.1.7, so I'm guessing it's a regression that will be fixed in an upcoming update. OTOH, 'speed control' has been my own biggest frustration with FSD since I've been using it on various Teslas over the last several years, so maybe this is simply a harder thing to get right than I think it should be. I do wish we had the scroll wheel over-ride option until it gets finally and thoroughly and permanently 'fixed.' I know this is a 'high class problem"/bone of contention, but it's especially frustrating when FSD does everything else so well!!!

It may be a 'mapping' issue where the CT is simply not getting reliable map data, since this version also missed an obvious exit it's not missed before. But it seems that Teslas are so good at sensing whether general traffic is slowed down (yellow and red navigation marking), it would seem that it could simply 'go with the flow' of traffic. I know it's different on roads with no traffic, but this was on a busy interstate with *everyone* passing me for about a four mile stretch. Yeah, I know about switching profiles, but going from Standard to Mad Max did NOT fix it, and it shouldn't be expected to. In this instance, it was borderline a safety issue.
