we definitely share the same sentiment being able to see in the bed while driving was why we wanted to do the bed lights. Our plan is to make a light that can sync with all of our other lighting products to make for some awesome light shows but also can run independentlyI’d buy bed lights in a heartbeat. I have to be able to keep them on while driving, dim them and or change colors. If there was a way to get them to integrate with the oem UI so they change color with the interior strip that would be amazing.
absolutely love it!Sounds like we’re all thinking in the same
Direction
Right now CyberBeam is controlled through its own controller and app, so you can set color, brightness, and effects without messing with the Tesla UI. The big thing we built around is keeping Tesla’s OEM behavior intact first, so factory animations and Light Shows still work like they’re supposed to.This would be a great addition. How are your light controlled? Is this only an app or any plans to mimic interior ambient lighting? This way it can be controlled via teslas UI?
The first two. I’d want bed lights to work with the interior strip. I don’t really think there is much use for animations for example in the bed.Right now CyberBeam is controlled through its own controller and app, so you can set color, brightness, and effects without messing with the Tesla UI. On the ambient lighting idea, yes, we’ve talked about that a lot. Mimicking the interior vibe and having it track a theme or “profile” is definitely something we want. As far as controlling it directly inside Tesla’s UI, that’s the goal people ask for, but we’re being careful there because anything that ties into Tesla’s systems needs to be done the right way and without breaking updates or OEM functions.
If you could design it, what would you want most:
- Match interior color automatically
- Simple presets you can switch fast
- A “Tesla-like” slider control style
- Sync to lock, unlock, drive, park, etc.
For me honestly a simple match the interior color instantly sounds the easiest and simplest option. Sometimes over complications can lead to disaster. But I’m only one voice here. I echo that sentiment. KISS principleFor me honestly a simple match the interior color instantly sounds the easiest and simplest option. Sometimes over complications can lead to disaster. But I’m only one voice here. Others may want differently.
Yes the bass is way deeper I’m very happy and so are my passengers. I still need to do the dash and tweeters but the dash is a whole project on its own. And cold weather hit so projects on hold. How are those speakers sounding Frey. Still happy with them?
