This doesn’t cause phantom drain, likely you have sentry mode on, or cabin overheat is being used a lot. I drop about 5-6% with sentry mode is on at the airport in nice weather.I think it might be wise to turn it off advanced before you get out of the car if you will not be charging the vehicle for a few days (like when you go on a plane trip). I have twice left the state or country only to have an update be issued and somehow everyone already knows that when an update is issued but not installed your CT can’t go to sleep and you lose 6% battery per day. I didn’t read this in any Tesla manual, but as best I can tell it is widely known and it’s one’s own fault for falling victim to this software bug. But that also means before you start your trip, you have to make sure you have the latest advanced software update so that you will be less likely to get a non-advanced update while you are gone.
Tesla is still at the teething stage of revolutionizing a 100+ year car industry…it ain’t gonna happen overnight or cheaply.
