Congrats! I also went from a Plaid S to a Cybertruck, in my case I went with the AWD and couldn’t be happier.

Things to consider in the switch - seats on the S are much more comfortable than the Cybertruck. Ventilated seats on Cybertruck suck - literally and figuratively. Width takes a little adjustment. Oddly, the steering does not.

You’ll want to consider some accessories. for starters I’d go with a bed storage divider, some bungees, underseat storage tray for the rear seat and I like the latest backup camera mirrors - review on my channel. Oh, and the frunk storage net is clutch.
I would suggest holding off on the underseat storage tray for the rear seat. Wait till you get the truck and start using it to see if your looking for the additional organization under the rear seat. What you lose with it is an open floor plan in the back when you flip the back seat up. I find the open floor plan far more important than the additional organization provided by the big underseat storage. I just use some cloth baskets under the seat and still have the open floor storage if I need it.

You can also get the hooks for the L-Track in 10 packs from Amazon a LOT CHEAPER that from Tesla.

As to Bed Storage Divider - Far to expensive and big to store when you want the whole bed open. Just get 1 or 2 Cargo Bars to keep everything in place back there. Cheaper, more versatile.

Enjoy...

Tbh I don't know much about anything atp... I didn't actually test drive the CB until yesterday lol. I keep seeing stuff about powershare, what exactly is that? Is it a cable or a adapter or is it a wall unit? I have tesla solar alr but i don't have the batteries, it just sells my solar to the grid 24/7. Do I need a different wall unit (besides my current tesla inverter) or something to use my CB to power my house? What setup/cables to you recommend to charge my plaid with my CB? Is it against tesla ToS to use free supercharging to regularly charge your other EV's or power your home?

^^This!^^ The floor of the backseat is great for clean cargo and the bins just complicate things.

Yeah, I don't have time to mess with a cargo divider. I've had no issues loading all kinds of cargo without concern. Occasionally I need to bungee something to the D-rings or o-rings in the load tracks but that's a lot less dinking around than using a bed divider which can get in the way.

Thanks to xenotek for starting this thread and those who added to it. The main reason for us selecting CB over AWD this past weekend, was prepaid Supercharging for us and whomever owns it when we are long gone. Never worrying about the watts it takes to propel a 7,000 lb rocket to 60 in < 3 seconds… priceless! That + FSD for the long stretches across SW Desert interstates is worth the price difference.

Does Tesla credit one’s original $100 CT res deposit? 😉 Waited all this time and now that time is here!

My CB is now an official Lemon, I am turning it in to Tesla in the coming weeks. Best of luck
Lucky dog you. That’s like getting a free do over. Assuming you aren’t losing free supercharging on that particular one.

Does the CT come with a flash drive for sentry or do you need to buy one?

There is an option .
Cabin Camera… video good but goes to voice when in drive… need premium connectivity - great quality…

zoom meeting icon is in main apps area list…

can’t share laptop image but for simple chat or attendance in another meeting it works REALLY WELL.

No, you won't.

But what Cyberbeast? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:🤪🥳
Thanks a lot for the info. Btw I have a low profile 3 ton jack for my plaid. Will I have to get a diff jack to change tires on the CB?
I would recommend you get 2 jacks for the CT. It's a very heavy vehicle and if you want to pick up one whole side (and you will want to do that) it will be safer with 2 jacks. You've got time. Watch the sales and step up when they hit. 3 ton minimum. Low profile doesn't really matter with a CT.
