It doesn't. That is why the terms were changed. Elon saw 10k in FSD (guess) subscriptions gone in those sales. Those people were going to buy a new car or truck within some period. Elon was mad they were transferring into a cheap truck. Said screw them. Even if we get half of those canceled in orders. He still got 5k in subscriptions in cars being bought.

Originally FSD transfer was allowed for orders made by 3/31 for the dual motor Cybertruck. This was confirmed by all of the many Tesla advisors I spoke to. They all said it was no problem and that the transfer would take place near to delivery. Then all of a sudden the wording was changed after many people had already ordered. IMO that's breaking the contract if they don't honor the original purchase deal. These weren't preorders they were actual orders. It's extremely sleazy if they change the deal after the agreement is made.
Ya, but my window was 5-7 weeks when I ordered. So it could go as long as 7 weeks and wouldn’t be “late.”
