This time there’s no $2500 floor mat credit which must all be used on one random accesory splurge and a fun meeting with Qmerits finest sleazebags.Talk about ground hog day, people rushing to order and wondering how many years it will take for their truck to be delivered. Pretty wild.
I think the main thing that will cause people to bail on their orders is if Tesla actually goes through with disallowing FSD transfer for those who ordered before the policy change. Is that even legal? Of course those customers will get their $250 deposit back but it will leave a long lasting bad taste in their mouths and a distrust of the company. It's very sad to see.It will be interesting to see many reservations convert to actual deliveries. My hunch is that many reservations were made “just in case” to lock in the low $59,990 price. Losing a $250 deposit isn’t the end of the world.
Yea seems pretty wild, no lightbar drama this time, but considering no one knows what the new bed looks like that will be a surprise. Granted it has to be better than the current version that allows gravel and hay down on top of the pack and fills up the diaper. This time there’s no $2500 floor mat credit which must all be used on one random accesory splurge and a fun meeting with Qmerits finest sleazebags.
It’s almost a bigger mindfuck this time. I bet you there are still people supine in bed with racing thoughts about whether or not their FSD will transfer and shit like that.
It's absolutely legal if they agree to refund the $250, which it appears they will.I think the main thing that will cause people to bail on their orders is if Tesla actually goes through with disallowing FSD transfer for those who ordered before the policy change. Don't kid yourself. I've already talked to people who are most likely cancelling. Here's the timeline: Tesla convinced many customers to buy the full $8k FSD by 2/14. Then they quickly introduce the $59k Cybertruck with the promise that they'll be able to transfer that $8k FSD to the new truck. People order in good faith as it's finally the vehicle they always wanted. Then Tesla rescinds on their promise, which essentially voids the $8k FSD that they've only had for a month. It's definitely not ethical. Is it even legal? We'll find out, but for sure it will be ugly. Hopefully they'll rethink this bonehead reversal. Most customers will hold their order until they get a delivery date to see if Tesla has come to their senses. Time will tell.I doubt many people bail out. It's a steal at 59k. Maybe some end up not being able to get the money together.
But the paid FSD ended before this 59k truck was announced. Unless they can see the future.Don't kid yourself. I've already talked to people who are most likely cancelling. The Bed will be the same as the RWD Cybertruck.. Look for some videos on that and you can see its just a one piece bottom. This is a real upgrade and honestly I never used the smugglers bay anyways.Yea seems pretty wild, no lightbar drama this time, but considering no one knows what the new bed looks like that will be a surprise.
