When can we expect more accurate delivery dates for those who bought during the 10-day window? Will those who had a June delivery still see that date, or will it be postponed?

Good point. I’d tend to agree 2027 is a worst case scenario.

Talk about ground hog day, people rushing to order and wondering how many years it will take for their truck to be delivered. Pretty wild.

This time there’s no $2500 floor mat credit which must all be used on one random accesory splurge and a fun meeting with Qmerits finest sleazebags.
It’s almost a bigger mindfuck this time. I bet you there are still people supine in bed with racing thoughts about whether or not their FSD will transfer and shit like that.

Tesla will pull this timeline in considerably through 3 means - one, increasing production. Two, offers will come to those in the queue to upgrade, especially at the end of each quarter, and some will take those offers. Finally, some will cancel, as always happens. I saw people placing orders for these just in case they *might* want to buy later. I'm probably among group two, if a great upgrade offer comes for AWD/Beast I'll probably move.

It will be interesting to see many reservations convert to actual deliveries. We Americans have very low patience levels. Not many reservation holders are willing to wait 12+ months for a vehicle.

My hunch is that many reservations were made “just in case” to lock in the low $59,990 price. Losing a $250 deposit isn’t the end of the world.

My gut tells me that something is brewing behind the scenes regarding the Cybertruck. I just can’t put my finger on it.

I think the main thing that will cause people to bail on their orders is if Tesla actually goes through with disallowing FSD transfer for those who ordered before the policy change. Is that even legal? Of course those customers will get their $250 deposit back but it will leave a long lasting bad taste in their mouths and a distrust of the company. It's very sad to see.

I doubt many people bail out. It's a steal at 59k. Maybe some end up not being able to get the money together.

Yea seems pretty wild, no lightbar drama this time, but considering no one knows what the new bed looks like that will be a surprise. Granted it has to be better than the current version that allows gravel and hay down on top of the pack and fills up the diaper.

It's absolutely legal if they agree to refund the $250, which it appears they will.

If you recall, the FS CT and other CTs ordered months after the FS ended all ordered AutoPilot only for Tesla to later say that the CT will not receive Autopilot (over a year later).

It's pretty standard for Tesla. Cars that were ordered before AP was stripped out last month were delivered without said Autopilot. They did this with Steam in 2022, mobile chargers in 2023, and passenger lumbar in 2021. Basically their response is, "You can still cancel". Basically, those who argued with each of those issues were offered their $250 back...I happened to be impacted by each one. So there could be more that just didn't hit when I took delivery.

MY in 2021 and 2023= No charger and no passenger lumbar
MS in February 2022= No Steam/PS5 like gaming
M3P in 2026= No AP

Edit: When I picked up the M3 yesterday the Tesla Delivery advisor said the FSD policy was made specifically for the AWD CT and they were making exception for non AWD vehicles that are simply late.

Don't kid yourself. I've already talked to people who are most likely cancelling. Here's the timeline: Tesla convinced many customers to buy the full $8k FSD by 2/14. Then they quickly introduce the $59k Cybertruck with the promise that they'll be able to transfer that $8k FSD to the new truck. People order in good faith as it's finally the vehicle they always wanted. Then Tesla rescinds on their promise, which essentially voids the $8k FSD that they've only had for a month. It's definitely not ethical. Is it even legal? We'll find out, but for sure it will be ugly. Hopefully they'll rethink this bonehead reversal. Most customers will hold their order until they get a delivery date to see if Tesla has come to their senses. Time will tell.

But the paid FSD ended before this 59k truck was announced. Unless they can see the future.

The Bed will be the same as the RWD Cybertruck.. Look for some videos on that and you can see its just a one piece bottom. This is a real upgrade and honestly I never used the smugglers bay anyways.
