I use the tmat system to stablize loads/protect the bed. would definitely recommend it!
How do you like the Tmat? I came across them recently and might look at getting one later. From reviews I’ve read, sounds like the attachments have worked themselves loose for some people. I was thinking of some custom 3d printed mounts to use with it.

Monster Energy fridge for our cabin. I was going to transport it upright, but the previous owner transported it on its back before. I’ll let it stand for a few weeks anyways before plugging it in to let the oil settle back.

I really like it. would definitely recommend. it has been very useful. no issues with the mounts so far, especially the tight fit ones. the whole system is clearly 3d printed so I imagine you could do lots to expand it if you had your own printer. they also make screw mountable inserts that you can add to anything. I used them to make this contraption:

https://www.cybertruckownersclub.co...-tmat-x-toughbuilt.48455/page-2#post-30669462

one small downside: it (obv) raises your truck bed by about 1cm so take that into account.

if you decide to go into the tmat accessory business, definitely post your ideas/prints here for us to see!

3000 lbs 1/2 cord of wood
1/2 cord fits and tonneau closed

photo is after a few taken out
Use a tarp to keep wood chips from going deep underneath
Be very careful tarp does not get caught in tonneau track

CT drove like the 3,000 wasn’t even there

Do you know what kind of wood that is? It looks like it packs some good BTU's.

Be aware that if you could close the tonneau cover, it was not a proper 1/2 cord of wood. A cord is defined as 128 cu. ft., stacked to minimize air gaps. The Cybertruck bed is listed by Tesla as 56 cu. ft. but that almost certainly follows the established standard of measuring to the flush open top of the bed sides. Volume under the tonneau is likely a bit less. An honest half cord should stack into a cuboid of 64 cu. feet.

There is no functional problem with hauling wood without a tarp. Bark chips and dirt can fall into the area around the Smuggler's Bay lid, but I find it easier/quicker to blow out than to deal with tarps. Tarps are good for finer materials like sand, topsoil, pea-gravel, etc.

I love wood heat, enjoy your fires!

Finally got around to hauling more than my JD tractor…this time cattle to the sale barn. Looks on their faces was priceless. 🤣

Edit…attaching link to TikTok video ranch neighbors kid made as we were headed out:

Hoping that the new $60k version and all other versions address the vault issue.
It should be waterproof, but more importantly the holes in it that allow wood chips, gravel, dirt, hay, etc to sit on top of the compressor, get stuck under the floor, and fill up the diaper are an issue.

Well, after nearly two years, I haven't noticed any significant build-up of debris above the under-fairing. Of course I line the bed with a tarp before I haul anything fine like sand or dirt. My Model 3 had more just from road dirt, sand, mud and gravel kicking up.

Got an alert that you had posted on this thread and I thought…why? I mean we all already know what he’s hauling.

Smart move using a tarp, it is unfortunately pretty necessary when hauling anything that has the potential to fit between the slats in the bed.
This is one of those design elements that was not considered by "truck guys" during development.

One "hack" that works fairly well are these dumpster bags, only $30 and fit in the bed pretty well.
Being a square you can hook parts of it on the L tracks to keep things from slipping over the edges of the tarp.

Hopefully the people who saved some $ when they bought this recent $60k version will be saved the headache of having to line their bed.

I don't know what planet you're from, perhaps a planet with no trucks, because I don't know anyone who doesn't throw a tarp down before hauling sand or soil. I've been doing this since I started using trucks back in the 1970's, I learned from old-timers. They said it makes the job easier, including the cleanup. And it does. Pickup beds have always leaked because they are designed to drain.

When I cut and haul firewood I don't put a tarp down, regardless of what truck I'm using. There is nothing special about the Cybertruck. It's not a problem.
