I’m going to be in your shoes in a few weeks. That PPF looks nice what is the color called? In the video @ 4:58 he says it is a wrap (and not a color ppf like i thought it was)
Clear Gloss PPF with 40% tint. It's normally used for headlights/tail lights but I really like that look. The installer is meeting me today at Tesla to show me some samples actually on the Cybertruck SS before he orders a roll. It's $1800 a roll so .... measure twice, cut once. :)

Nice thanks for the info, I might end up doing a shade of clear on mine too. I have been looking at platinum color by pureppf, it looks kinda like clear gloss tint but a shade of green/brown.

Nice, is it purely a color preference? Or are there more options for tinted clear PPF (ie. from higher quality and/or cheaper ppf companies than PurePPF)?

I didn't do a lot of research but once I saw the tinted clear gloss I decided that was it. I met my installer at Tesla this morning and he had a sample of the film I'm getting and put it on their Cyberbeast demo and it's exactly what I want.

Very strong stuff, 10 year warranty. I'm getting clear PPF on the light bars and headlights, ceramic coating on all the plastic trim and the Wheels (sans Aero covers). Can't wait but it seems the Cybertruck has been a waiting game for me since 2019. :)

Cool man post pics when you get it done. I was looking into photochromic PPF for the lightbar/headlights

Well I couldn't stand it and drove the 25 minutes to the Tesla Delivery Center. They were very nice and allowed me to do a predelivery (delivery is 03/07) inspection in and out of my truck. I wouldn't say I fine tooth combed it but I did give it a pretty good going over. It has 4 miles on the ODO and everything looked great from the panel gaps and stainless finish to the trim and wheels/tires. Inside was great (love the main screen) and both trunks were near perfect. The tonneau cover appears to have the extra slat and there is a full gasket seal across the top at the junction of the glass roof and the removable metal plate cover for the tonneau.

I should have taken some photo's but there were three Cybertruck's lined up in the delivery area pretty close together and mine was the middle one so no good angles for pictures.

I'll take photos this weekend as it's getting the PPF wrap next week and It'll be a long time before i see her naked again. It's really fun to relive that excitement from the 2019 launch here in 2026. It has been over six years and there were points where I said I would never purchase a Cybertruck but as the old saying goes, never say never ... For me this is one really cool and functional vehicle. 😎

I took delivery of my Cyberbeast today. Finally!
Ordered 1/11/26 CB with Luxe package, grey interior, cyber wheels, terrestrial armor package.
In Sacramento area.
So you took delivery in Rocklin ... I demo drove the Beast and frankly, it was to fast for me. I'm someone who has always driven fast but at 74, I no longer care about that and I aspire to drive more like the grandpa I am. As Dirty Harry famously said; "A mans got to know his limitations" Amen to that brother.

I was out there yesterday (Rocklin DC) )and there were 3 identical Premium AWD's lined up. One was mine and they let me do a pre inspection in and out. We are fortunate to have 2 service centers within 15 miles of each other. The irony of that is with 4 Tesla's currently in the family and I am on my 4th, we have never had a service issue that wasn't resolved by a mobile tech. Just knocked on wood ... :)

Yes, picked up in Rocklin (side note: wish Robotaxi was available in our area. cost me $35+ to Uber to the Tesla delivery center).

I originally was just going to get the AWD as well but the LUXE package on the Beast pushed me over the edge. Motivates me to take lots of road trips with the free supercharging, plus, FSD is a must!

Seems like you made the right decision. I wasn't aware of the LUXE package but had purchased FSD on my Model Y that is being traded in for the CT/DM and transferred to the Cybertruck. FSD is the game changer for sure.

I was scheduled to pick up 3/16 but I messaged to let me know if it gets delivered sooner for whatever reason. 3 hours later, they messaged back saying I can pick it up on 3/7/26!
For reference I placed the order on 2/14, assigned VIN just last week.
I am happy but also concerned. Does it mean I am going to get someone’s reject?

When you arrive for delivery check the trucks VIN against your Tesla app. If they don't match I would be suspicious of a "reject delivery" vehicle by another party.
