I live in the Boston area and have only washed my truck at the automated washes. And this past winter, I haven’t washed it at all lol.

Question: how is this different than using Citrisurf 77 that Tesla recommends?

In my industry, that product has never been used. I have actually never heard of it until I got on this forum. I can’t speak to its effectiveness on Stainless steel. The chemicals that formulate CYBERBRITE have been successfully used in my industry for around 35 years. It is specifically designed for de-staining and passivating stainless steel.

I hadn't read about this in other threads, so this post was my first introduction to Cyberbrite... But I had to try it. So I just made a purchase. Part of me wanted to just let it keep oxidizing until someday it looks like the finish of Mando's Razercrest. But I think my wife would appreciate Celeste to be all bright and shiny again.

When you say 2 continuous coats, you meant apply, rinse it off, apply it again then rinse it off ?

or 2 coats at the same time then rinse it off ?

Hi, FYI Teslas' stainless steel is very tough. The finish is as deep as it is thick. I use a minimal cost, full brush drive through and it works great.

2 questions, will the cyberbrite help with the fingerprints / stains from oily handprints and lotion?
What are the caveats regarding application on plastic parts, glass?

Hi, fingerprints will still show up unfortunately. I use undiluted isopropyl alcohol 99% (Amazon) on fingerprints. There is no need to dilute. As we all know, most of that problem is just around the top of the doors. I’m experimenting with products to address just those areas. Would like suggestions from anyone with ideas on how to address just those areas. CYBERBRITE will not affect plastic/glass when used as directed.
