Seriously! Savage!!!

I would ask my competition; but they’re dead.
Should have one made showing the CT, Lightning, and R1T together. The Rivian would be using a walker, the Lightning either in the grave or getting an EV change.

From the half empty list, what I personally care would want / care about:

HomeLink - nope, do not care

Adaptive Headlights - yes, want

Not Just ASS. Dumb Summon, Auto Pilot - only straight back/forth remote control. Don’t care about ASS or Auto pilot

Auto-opening/closing doors - nope, don't care

Best Audio - nope, audio is good enough

ANC - would like that, if it somewhat works

Top HP Spec - don’t care

Quickest - don‘t care

Top Speed - don’t care

Binnacle - ??

Motorized tilting center screen - don’t care

Usable Rear View Mirror- yes. I would like a camera mirror like the aftermarket stuff, but only rear view. Integrated in the camera/recording system. Not all those additional functionality of the aftermarket sets.

Rear Camera Washer - yes, why not?

USS - nope

Radar - nope

Ryzen Steam capable CPU/ separate GPU - nope

Carbon Ceramic brakes - nope

CyberTruck Superlatives

• 48V Low-Voltage System – nice, but how does it improve my experience? Who cares?

• Steer-by-Wire – YES, YES

• Etherloop Data Architecture – who cares?

• 800V High-Voltage System – maybe once V4 is everywhere, and even then it doesn’t save much. So close to who cares.

• V2H (Vehicle-to-Home) – see below
• V2V (Vehicle-to-Vehicle) – see below
• Integrated Power Outlets – YES, YES. And this covers the above two also, right?

• Powered Frunk – Yes. Amazing how quickly I got used to using screen and button in the frunk, don’t want to miss it.

• 4-Wheel Steering – YES, YES. This makes, together with steer by wire, the CT so much fun to drive.

• Extract Mode – Yes
• Wade Mode – YES Used both during off roading

• Locking Differentials – don‘t know, have not needed it, not sure I ever will

• Exoskeleton – not sure if correctly called exoskeleton, but I do like the hard stainless steel. Allows me to not clean my CT (far less then my previous painted cars)

• Armor Glass – yes. Although I have seen now two front windshields broken by hit by stones while driving on the freeway (not mine). That is a little dissapointing

• Front Display Size – Yes. Bigger is better.

• Rear Display Size – don’t care, never sit in the back

• Payload Capacity – don’t really care

• Towing Capacity – don’t really care

• Big Ass Wiper – YES, just for bragging right.

• Angles 📐 all of them. – YES, YES, YES. It would not be a CT if it didn’t have triangles

A huge CT superlative that shouldn't be left out is SAFETY.
In almost any accident, Cybertruck is the safer vehicle.

If we're including "car stuff", like 0-60 and top speed, then it's okay to play up "truck stuff" quite a bit more, like carrying pallets, camping, towing, etc...

Agree with GmP comments on these 3 that we are missing:
"Adaptive Headlights - yes, want
ASS - only straight back/forth remote control.
Rear Camera Washer - yes, why not?"

Best audio = Cybertruck, hands down. I do own one.

And I can say this after owning the following:
  • 2024 Model S Plaid
  • 2023 Model 3 Performance
  • 2020 Model 3 Performance

2021+ Model X is good, too! But CT still wins.

Like I said “people will assert otherwise.” Those people are wrong. 😉

Please see list above for the correct answer.👆

🤣😂🤣😂

*Seriously though, no configuration of M3 or MY is even in contention. Your 2020 M3P was pre-initial refresh and not in the same league as what the MP3 offered after the ‘21 refresh. I don’t know if Highland has any additional audio capabilities, but by design it’s not at the same tier as CT, S or X - anyway you slice it.

By all means add anything you think I missed to either list. I was just thinking maybe L Trac should be on there. 🤔

Carbon Ceramic brakes - nope

“Binnacle” is the name of the display in front of your steering wheel on a normal car/boat.

As far as the brakes, if you drove the CyberBeast hard and fast like I do, you would appreciate why at least the option of carbon ceramic brakes would be nice to have. As it sits, it does not have sufficient stopping power to slow down all that mass when driven as spiritedly as I do. But that’s not recommended anyhow. Brake fade is a real threat too.

This thing is quite under-braked, I’ll give you that. Regen seems more generous than the sexy cars, but that might be in my imagination.

The list of features between platforms seems to summarize that the CT was built for utility and most tech-packed possible. I wish we could get fkin dumb summon even vs actual smart summon, but this is a luxury thing… I am counting down the days until the FSD stack rewrite is done.
