AWD VS BEAST

Yep.

One of the main reasons I traded my Lightning for a Beast is that I was bored driving it. My M3P made me accustomed to certain baseline performance, and my Lightning wasn't keeping me happy.

Fun fact: The AWD CT is slower than the Lightning I got rid of, because it was too slow.

I’m tempted to test drive a beast out of curiosity after reading these comments….AWD is already incredibly fast especially for a large vehicle with a pickup bed….i can’t imagine what a beast must feel like

It is nuts! My nephew had a loaner beast when he brought his MY for issues and it was incredible. He let me drive it...

Okay- this is just about money. The best cybertruck is the beast in whatever premium version is currently offered. If you are stretching financially - then the AWD is a great car too / just not the top of the line - period. The AWD is cheaper because it is less of a vehicle. Same with a turbo S Porsche 911 versus the Porsche 911 Carrera. Simply a decision on dollars. And of course the towing ability of the cyberbeast is more than the AWD - I am still thrilled with my cyberbeast foundation - alcantera interior, white dashboard, massive acceleration faster than all my friends in my corvette or porsche clubs - I like to tell them at cars and coffee thar my “ refrigerator is faster then any of their cars”. Why does anyone buy the new corvette zr1X over the standard corvette? Because it is the “best” version of the Corvette. The Beast is the best version of this fantastic vehicle- the cybertruck, if you can afford the beast - stop agonizing - and over analyzing / buy the best cybertruck available- the BEAST!

Torque vectoring is also fantastic on the cyberbeast - - no one regrets owning the best model of the cybertruck. Also those etched heads on the tailgate - so subtle- look massive to every AWD cybertruck owner that is passed by a cyberbeast on the road, those three etched heads scream- don’t even think about it to every porsche and Corvette and even Ferrari owner— this is one crazy fast refrigerator that is embarrassing faster than your sports car. And it drives itself, has a better a/c system, a better stereo, can compete with any off road vehicle and massive room inside for tall pudge guys like myself / and carried 25 sago palms home last Saturday from Costco!

The only difference I've seen with loaners and demo cars is that they're capped at 85mph. Acceleration was as expected on the M3P and MYP I drove recently. Not sure if it varies by service center though.

The “best” version of a car depends on its use case. There are some very expensive versions of many cars that suck as daily drivers.

If I feel the need to go crazy fast, I also have a '24 S Plaid. My AWD Cybertruck definitely feels more rear-wheel-drive when doing normal city driving, which I prefer. Which is 99% of my use.

So the extra money was not my concern. I drove the CB plenty of times. Definitely great, and maybe I would have gotten it if it was my only 'fast' vehicle. I prefer the dash of the AWD over the CB Alcantara.

For my daily driver, Premium AWD is best. Can't say I'd choose the Beast, even if the price was the same. I prefer the RWD feel and quieter motors of the AWD.

While your opinion and choice is yours to behold, there is a factual error in your statement. Towing ability is the same for both AWD and Beast. And, the AWD actually has better payload. Your only claim to fame here is the acceleration and included light bar. It is literally the difference you pay for. Everything else is more or less equal.
