I want one with the Cybertruck aesthetic, but I'll probably buy it even without that.
Yah not sure but if they’re using the Cybetruck production line then I would expect to be a variation of the CT.

I wonder how big is the Robovan compared to the Cybertruck?

Thinking that if the Cybertruck can fit inside a Boring tunnel,
so would the Robovan be also able to fit inside the Boring tunnel?

Tesla Cybertruck CyberSUV / CyberVan hints dropped by Musk?? [Updated w/ more from Elon] {filename}
The Robovan will need a different chassis under it. Something about the additional weight of 15 more people.

agree, and very likely to be built in the Nevada Semi Plant, that has facilities for larger vehicle manufacturing.

I know Elon has said no more vehicles with steering wheels, but he has changed course in the past. Probably 8 in 10 didn’t know if they’d want/buy a vehicle with an open yoke, and the CT quietly emerged with the squircle.
He planned hard on rolling CyberTaxis out en masse starting this month, but driverless, wheel and peddle-less vehicles are only approved in a handful of jurisdictions.
Sometimes reality doesn’t move as fast as EM thinks it will. This could be an easy to engineer pivot that clearly would fill a need.

Separate question: If they did a CT based SUV and called it “Cyburban” as suggested in this thread, would/could Mary Barra sue for copyright infringement?

Joystick...

Mostly driven by FSD, but backup joystick on the console or door.

Well, they copied the truck specs from the Ford F150, and called it the "Cybertruck"
so if they take the specs of the SUV from the Chevrolet Suburban, why can't they just call it the "CyberSUV" :)

BTW, they will need this type of vehicle to replace the aging Model X's used for NASA/manned space flight, to bring the astronauts from the ready room to the launch pad

This is an interesting idea! Did you come up with the joystick idea yourself or did you hear it from some leak??

I've driven a vehicle controlled by a joystick, but that wasn't this century. It needed better computer control to remove body movements due to vehicle motion. It would have been computationally hard back then.

Better be cybertruck platform. Open the floodgates
I think they mentioned before that they'll never make another vehicle with stainless steel exterior, because it's just not economical. It's a shame, because that's the main reason I love the truck.

It needs to look a little more normal....the looks of the cybertruck are not going to work for most soccer moms. But I would get a CyberSUV. Would be amazing.
